Did the circuit ant the north end of the island. Generally well sign-posted, there are some well constructed steps up to one of the lookout spots from Settlement Beach. The views from the top are magnificent, but the climb might be too much for the less-than-fit, especially up from Ned's Beach

Loved this walk, hard 2 hours but sooooooo rewarding. You need to be fit and take water and a long stick to swipe away the hundreds of spiders (if you have arachnaphoia avoid altogether!), but all worth it i thought. Very peaceful and spiritual ontop of the cliff views in all directions breathtaking.

We did a number of trails, and I have to say that Goat House Cave trail is fabulous! This trail truly challenged us because of the very steep sections at the top but the spectacular views were worth it.

Actually, the views on several of the trails were great.

The only retraction is the parks service insistence on using logs for the steps to upgrade trails. Taking huge steps to climb 250 meters (such as on Max Nichols Memorial Trail) is exceptionally tiring and strenuous. Clearly the people upgrading these trails have no concept of older legs that can't do 25 to 35 cm steps every step of the way!

Plenty of well marked walking tracks heading through the forest, along cliffs, and up to hill tops. There are views from all directions including Balls Pyramid and many other islands nearby. One track was closed due to a landslip and only signed as closed from one direction.

Spent 4 days walking these trails and had a great time. All trails are well marked and well maintained, Some of the trails are taxing on the fitness but you can climb as high as you can and still get a magnificent view, Photo opportunities around each corner and the chance to get up close and personal to the birdlife is magical,
