“Beautiful Resort”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

My partner and I recently stayed at Peppers for Valentines Day night. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were so friendly on both check in and check out and helped with any queries we had. I highly recommend having dinner at Season Restaurant as it was hands down the best food I've ever had. The buffet breakfast was fantastic also.
We will definitely try to get back down for a longer stay next time to take advantage of the beautiful pool and other resort facilities. All in all a lovely one night getaway.

Room Tip: The one bedroom with the plunge pool would be lovely on a Summer's Day, however we simply did no...

Overall a nice resort. Service was great, lovely pool area, nice breakfast & beautiful food at Season restaurant. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had good facilities & was quite spacious (galley kitchen, spa bath, lounge room, balcony). We really didn't like that it had a split entry (one shared door then once inside 2 seperate rooms). On our last night our neighbour's were coming & going loudly at 4:30am which kept us awake (obviously not the resorts fault!). The other nights were nice & quiet. Good location, close to Byron & Coolangatta.

Recently stayed in 3 bedroom apartment with ocean view. Lots of good space meant we could keep out of each others way. Children loved the pool. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative was no barbeque and the children really wanted to cook their own meal. Understand from staff that body corporate did not allow Barbeque and it was suggested we use the one in the public park which we did. Unfortunately this barbeque was filthy and broken. Only solution was to go across the road to Mantra Salt and use their facilities. thank you Mantra. Peppers might like to reconsider their no barbeque policy as not everyone wants to eat in restaurants or have takeaway. especially children.

Room Tip: Rooms that open onto pool are great but only two bedroom.

We found the resort to be a very relaxing get away for a long weekend. The facilities are beautiful and the staff were friendly and efficient. Cocktails by the pool were enjoyed immensely and our bub loved the sand to play in and the gradual entry to the pool meant she could sit at the pools edge and paddle happily.

We did find that during the middle of the day there weren't enough umbrella to cater for those seeking shade.

Room Tip: We had a room which didn't overlook the pool which meant it was nice and quiet no matter what th...

We had been blown away by this stunning resort a year ago and were lucky enough to be back again for a sales conference. We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool and cant believe the great value breakfast!!! Everything you could possibly want and lovely friendly staff who dont seem to be ruffled by anything. We also ate at the Season's restaurant one night and it was superb - better value than the surrounding restaurants. Very hard to drag yourself away from the inside beach/pool and we were lucky to miss out on the storm the previous week. A great mini break. Cant wait to return.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have their own pools - on a hot day and busy weekend could be a good option.

Stayed here over the weekend and all in all it was a good weekend. Great place to relax.

The power went out for about 2 hours on Friday night and the situation was pretty mismanaged (totally understand losing power is not their fault). They seemed to do announcements over the PA system but you could not hear this in the room, had to go out onto the balcony and strain to hear them. The same announcement message was made throughout the outage with promise to keep updated information available. After about 45 mins I put in a call to reception to see if they had any candles or torches, which they did but you had to collect them from reception. Once down there I found out that it was just the resort not the local area that was affected. They only had 2 boxes of matches so you had to try and walk back to the room without the candle blowing out. It would have been nice to have made the announcement over the PA system that candles were available at reception and that it was just the resort that was affected.

Staff were friendly with the exception of those in Season restaurant, most of them seemed like they did not want to be there. Breakfast was good though, we must have went at the right times as we never had to wait but passed the queue of people waiting to get in on our way out.

Housekeeping seems a little wishy washy with things getting done one day but not the next. My daughter dropped some sultanas on the floor and they stayed there the whole time. They had 4 spare pillows in the cupboard which was great to not have to ask for extra pillows!

Would stay here again.

Dear Alexander V
Thansk for your feedback - pretty unfortunate circumstances with the power supply being dirsupted to the resort, and I thank you for your understanding.

Nice rooms, lovely staff, overall an excellent choice.

Downside was an uncomfy couch and the oven/microwave was difficult to figure out how to use but no biggy. Breakfast was super ordinary & long waits at peak times!

Several nice restaurants close by & the beach is only a few strides away.

I'd definitely stay here again.
