Just got back from a weekend away at Mantra. Because we were there for a wedding and the majority of the guests stayed at Mantra we got very reasonable prices.
The place is absolutly beautiful, buffet breakfast is delicious & pool is amazing with the beach only a short stroll away.
Had a 2 bedroom suite which is very modern, clean & spacious. The only thing I could fault them about was not having screens on the windows or doors which means you cannot enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze whilst sleeping without getting bitten by mozzies.
There is a great pub/night club & many restaurants to choose from within the complex of Salt.
Mantra is not to far to drive to get to the heart of Kingscliff. Would definitely recommend Mantra to anyone, absolutely beautiful.

We just got back from a week at Mantra and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant.
We had an ocean view hotel room which looked out over the pool and the beach (which is only a minutes walk away) and were very pleased. My only criticism is that the bed was actually 2 beds put together but we wouldn't have noticed had we not already been informed.
Food at the Salt Village restaurants was fantastic and the hotel bar made incredibly cocktails!
Perfect for couples looking for a weekend away.

Just got back from our second stay at the Mantra at Salt.
We booked a hotel room this time as it was only for one night, nice surprise when we got to the room was a bottle of bubbly to "welcome us back".Good sea view,it was raining heavily yesterday, made a change to see big waves there.
Hotel room good size, bathroom good size,a balcony with table & chairs.Excellent value for AU $155 for one night with breakfast.
First time we stayed was for three nights, chose one bed apartment ,excellent again.Breakfast good ,had nothing else all day.We ate in their Hotel bar at night ,very busy but didn't have to wait too long for food, who cares how long it takes when somebody else is cooking ?
Added bonus with this resort is the beach is a two minute walk and very quiet.
Will be back as soon as we have a free weekend.

We stayed here for the weekend. The property itself is apart of a big development and is relatively new. We stayed in a One Bedroom apartment which was large, with a good sized balcony over looking the pool/lagoon area. The balcony's themselves are not private, luckily we were at the end and had nobody on one side.

The pool area is great. Lots of deck chairs/lounges. And the beach is about 150 metres away. It also has tennis courts and a gym.

We didn't eat or drink at the property, though the township of Kingscliff is a couple minutes drive away. It has a good selection of restaurants and shops.

The staff were a bit surly and couldn't crack a smile to save themselves.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend the property as an alternative to the Gold Coast which is only 30 minutes away.
