“Good food but...”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

Food was good here but NO ambience. If you love pasta and pizza that's great but don't mind if you're in a noisy atmosphere with a lot of tiles, plastic and glass, you'll be fine.

“Fantastic for a family celebration!”
Reviewed August 7, 2011

We celebrated a family dinner (all 30 of us) and we all had a great dinner. The bruchetta was fantastic, the meals all arrived at the same time, the staff were great. The veal mushroom dish was very creamy and left you wanting more! I would totally recommend the Bella Amici and we will definately be back!

“Fantastic personalised service”
Reviewed March 4, 2010

I ate at Bella Amici for the first time with my family and some friends from Melbourne; who also run their own Restaurant.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with very fun and flavoursome customer service. First there was our very friendly waiter from Brazil, can't remember his name but he was great. Then there was Jacob, a fantastic hands on professsional who certainly knows his stuff.

From the moment he started to look after us we were in awe. Firstly he came and sat behind our 7 year old, asking if she knew what to drink, what to eat etc. He had her and us in fits of laughter, it was just great.

Recommendations for food were spot on, four of the table had the rainbow trout, myself the veal scallopini which was great.

Although they had the kids menu, ours were happy with the pizza and a side serve of chips.

Wine was good with a fair selection, Jacob again happy to chill down a couple in a hurry without any hesitation.

It's a great location too, central to all in Kingscliff and the surrounding resorts in SALT and Casuarina too.

Well done to the team at Bella Amici

“Fabulous restaurant for eating out”
Reviewed February 19, 2010

Amici's is a gorgeus restaurant - it's been around for years in a few different locations but always local to Kingscliff. It must be the longest surviving restaurant in the area, and that's saying something!

The new location is great, very classy inside and modern. The bar is lovely and not overpriced. Love the chandelier, it changes colour! Service can occaisionally leave something to be desired, but usually they are very good. As far as value for money goes, I think the quality justifies the cost but it is a good night out. Go on, spoil yourself!

The food is classy Italian food, but not so snobbish that children are not welcome as long as they are well behaved. There is no specific childrens menu but the chefs will cater to your needs providing entree sizes of everything for the kids. They also have high chairs.

Pizza is great but the pasta is even better in my opinion. The garlic bread is the best in town, the cheese is actually baked inside. My personal favourites are the cabonara and any of the chicken specials. All are devine. Wicked cocktails too.

Make sure you book - as mentioned in other reviews, the locals know about this hidden gem and a friday/saturday night is always packed!

“Dining in Kingy”
Reviewed June 5, 2008

Excellent Italian fare in a brand new location. Amici has been around for a number of years now, and have just relocated into this new building. Right across from the beach, it has everything going for it - not least to mention the food. Always fresh, fantastic flavours and truly authentic.
Love it. Make sure you book, as the locals are well and truly on to it.
