During my stay at this alleged 4.5 star hotel, I was absolutely disgusted by the lack of cleaning and poor service demonstrated at this hotel. The rooms clearly are never dusted. Considering the small amount of furnishings in the room which actually require a light dusting; it's clear management are not concerned with the professionalism of their establishment.
Another issue were the stains on bed linen. I advised staff at reception of the matter, and sure enough after room service had 'cleaned' the room, the offending sheets were simply tucked back into the bed. I have taken several photos to verify this.
I cannot express how deeply disappointing this experience has been, I used to think quite fondly of Accor hotels but this experience has altered that perception significantly. I will never stay at the Sebel again and I call into question the integrity of Accor as a whole.
Being a local Wollongong resident I am so annoyed with myself for choosing the Sebel instead of Wollongong Novotel to spend my long weekend. Absolutely terrible and by far the worst hotel experienced ever.More
