We were a group of 14 adults (from Sydney and also visiting guests from Denmark) that spent the weekend together. We had an incredible time cooking amazing feasts (including using the pizza oven!), playing hide and seek in the dark, meeting Albert the wombat, exploring the hills during our morning runs, Aboriginal storytelling by the cozy fireplace, swimming in the freezing Kangaroo River, and spending good quality time together. It was an amazing place to retreat, all the facilities are there for the entire group. The beds are very comfy. Every thing was in place, down to the details of candles and native flowers on the tables, amazing organic shampoos and body wash in the bathrooms! There was a cozy lounge with fireplace and a well equipped kitchen, and also a massive shed space filled with sunlight where we played pool and the piano.
It is a bit hard to find the property in the dark, and being on a 22 seater bus it is hard to do a 3-point turn, so make sure you get clear directions and location if in a large group.
Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway to recharge, relax and experience a rustic experience within the beautiful Australian landscape.
