Owner description: Hyams beach is a long beach with spectacular white sand located in Jervis Bay. The best way to get there is to take the White Sands Walk from Greenfield Beach or Vincentia, that way you get to enjoy more than one of Jervis Bay’s spectacular white sand beaches.

Came here to check it out. A quiet and private beach, suitable for families and small children. No waves which was nice for a non-surfer like me.

The sand is so white you would'nt believe it's real, and thus the water is green and light blue. I could stay at that place forever.

Hyams Beach was one of the highlights of out Australian road trip. The sand is pure white and beautifully clean. The waves were fun and we saw a fair bit of wildlife including the obligatory gulls, we also saw an echidna - I kid you not. This is fantastic place to visit.

I'm not a huge dog fan and there were a large number of loose dogs on the beach (and concequently what dogs leave behind) but I did really love this place

You have to look for the entrance to this hideaway beach as there is only 1 and it is off the end of a road. Soft sand and great waves.

Visited hyams because its supposed to have "the whitest sand in the world" To me its just a beach with white sand. There is hardly any parking and one gets the feeling that the locals would have no visitor parking at all if they had their way - they really think its their own private beach and look down their noses at "interlopers". WE had to park up a sidestreet and while walking down to the beach I came across a sign on the PUBLIC footpath asking people not to walk on the grass ( Owner obviously prefers that people walk on the road???)Just to nark him I did walk on the grass and was waiting for him to say something so I coulld give him a lesson in the rights of the public to walk on public land - naturally he didn't say anything.
