Hi, thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your diving experience here in Jervis Bay. We would like to respond to your comment regarding "my BCD did not deflate correctly by pulling hard had to manually deflate with push button"
Not all BCD's are designed to be deflated by pulling down on the corrugated hose that is why divers are taught to hold up the hose and deflate using the deflate button - this allows for more finite control of descent and general buoyancy. By holding the hose above your head to deflate also reinforces that air will travel to the highest point so it is easier to deflate your BCD by holding the hose high rather than relying on pulling a dump hose particularly if you are in a head down feet up position.
With respect to the wetsuit we hope you can appreciate that after a busy summer season our wetsuits get a lot of wear and tear so there may be some suits that are not in an ideal condition and have not yet been sorted for replacement. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

“Great value, incredible couple of dives!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014

Asked in the dive shop on the off chance of diving the following day to be told they were booked up for the next 3 days, but that if i could be ready in 10 minutes i could jump on the boat going out that day!
Great value to hire all the kit and get 2 dives in the afternoon (circa £100), not to mention drinks and snacks on the boat.
Fantic double dive afternoon around Bowen Island with 2m grey nurse sharks, weedy sea dragons, wobbegongs, sting rays and even a fur seal!
Would highly recommend...just book ahead to be sure!

“Nice half day of diving”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

Nice little dive shop in jervis bay. We were 11 with one dive master. Would have been nice to have one more to split the group since we went into caves and swim thoughs. The one DM we had was excellent though (Cameron). Saw some blue grouper, box fish and loads of other fish and soft corals despite the poor visibility. Also enjoyed the hot drinks and snacks.

“good access to remote part of Jervis Bay, but not great for snorkeling”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

was sold as a snorkeling boat trip when i called on the phone, but really they were just filling out their charter boat, which was 7 divers, and 2 guys snorkeling, including myself. they promised to show how to use the snorkeling gear, where to go, etc, but the entire trip was 100% focused on the scuba divers.

they did point out where to go, and how to put the mask on. granted, snorkeling isn't rocket science but a bit more conversation would have been appreciated.

the location they chose was fantastic, though, and well worth the trip. i ended up there on a partly rainy day, so visibility was limited, which was a disappointment, but not their fault.

they also took great care of us while on the boat, with hot drinks and snacks between dives/snorkel sessions.

the dive shop did NOT sell underwater cameras. but a news store (convenience store) down the road did stock them, worth noting if you want to document your dive or snorkel.

was $85 AUD for snorkeling, including full wet suit, fins, snorkel and mask, and the roundtrip on the boat. entire trip took about 4 hours, for about 1 hour in the water. worth it, but wait for a fully sunny day to go.

“Good PADI dive centre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

I was going to be in the area and called speculatively, the team let me know a couple of days later that a double boat dive was arranged. The friendly & professional team looked after us well, doing all the equipment transfers to the boat, which was well appointed and spacious with dry area in the cabin and enough that everyone could change out of dive gear before we were back on shore. The divemaster was informative and helped us get the best of the two dives on a day when the seals were not very engaging with their "audience". The cost was average for a double boat dive, the hire gear (in my case BCD, reg, tanks and weights only) was of good standard.
