I organised a conference here, so we booked the whole place out for a weekend. I was blown away with the level of friendly and efficient service from John, Maxine and the team. From the initial enquiry to the booking and confirmation process, then arrival, check-in and throughout the weekend they just could not do enough for us, helping with restaurant and cruise bookings, assisting cheerfully with all the little details that pop up with a large group and just generally going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their flexible and accommodating approach, their "can-do" attitude and their sincerity are absolutely world-class and put many far more prestigious accommodation establishments to shame.

The property itself is good, clean and comfy. Its not 5 star but it doesn't claim to be; its a good value, reasonable quality motel in a very convenient location. The rooms are reasonably well appointed and the double brick construction means they are cool in summer (and they are also airconditioned) but you can also open a window for a breeze. Pleasingly, the water pressure in the showers was very good, often a problem in small motels, but not here. The car park is great too, as Husky gets very busy at times and parking is at a premium.

The balcony rooms looking towards the beach are superb value, really large and comfy.

Huskisson itself rocks, with lots to do around the bay, from beautiful beaches, walks in the national park, watersports galore including world-class diving, fishing and cruises on the bay to a nice little maritime museum and some very scenic golf courses. The village of Husky is great, with some excellent dining options (especially Wild Ginger thai) and what is surely one of the best pubs in the world only 40 metres from the hotel!

I can strongly recommend Huskisson Beach Motel for a well located and good value place to stay in Huskisson, but I can doubly recommend it for having absolutely world class service. It really is one of the easiest, friendliest and best run properties I have ever had the pleasure of staying at.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for a balcony room, its worth it. You also get a dedicated undercover parking spo...

I was looking for quality mid to high range accommodation in Huskisson for 1 night but ended up staying 2 nights. Very clean & we slept very well in a relaxed environment! Very close to town no need to drive anywhere once you landed in Huskisson. I have already recommended others to stay there and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Stayed at the Huskisson Beach motel as we competed in the Husky Long Course. Rooms are very clean with great service, In saying that at time through the night it was a little noisey with people walk home from the pub but that is not fault of the Motel.

I did my first Huskisson Triathlon and wanted to stay close to the action. I couldn't have gotten any closer! Across the road from the transition and finish line!
The management had sent a confirmation email a couple of days before we were due to arrive, which had a slight error in it, and they were happy to fix it straight away.
The room was quite nice, it is a motel, so of course things are basic, but all clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good selection of foxtel channels available (including all 3 Foxtel sports channels) along with the usual digital stations.

After my race all I wanted was a decent shower, but I wasn't prepared for how good this was going to feel!! Like the Seinfeld episode...it was like a Russian shower head had been installed!! Exactly what I needed to get the aches and pains away...I wasnt the only one who thought so, as a couple of people commented on how good it was as well. Obviously, no low flow shower heads in this motel!!

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and the price was reasonable, especially considering every bit of accomodation gets booked out on this weekend in Huskisson and surrounding areas.

Room Tip: I picked the beach front room, which has a balcony overlooking the park, and the weekend I stayed, t...

It was a good affordable place to stay and I would'nt hesitate to book it again. A pity there's no breakfast, since a breakfast out often means additional AUD 25 per person. We had dinner at the RSL nearby, which was a pretty bland experience.

My husband I stayed in Unit 1. We are both of the view that the bed is one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. The mattress was hard and the bedding designed for mid-winter rather than mid-summer. There also remained an electric blanket on the bed (hardly needed in February) and the electrical connection was on top of the mattress which provided a further factor for discomfort.

The fly screen in the ensuite bathroom rattled whenever there was a breeze, which was most of the time during our stay and created a further disturbance.

There was a toaster provided but no plates or cutlery. Why not?

The motel is conveniently located with off street parking and the cleanliness of the rooms of a reasonably high standard. It was just too bad about the sleep factor.

We stayed here for the Huskisson triathlon. Great location as it was directly across from the transition area for the tri. We had a room facing the park too which meant I had a great view of people getting on and off their bikes. This was great considering it was about 11 degrees and pinging down with rain.
The facilities were basic and clean and there was plenty of parking. Nice to have the microwave and fridge so we could sort out our own meals.

Unfortunately my poor fiancé who was competing the very next day was kept awake by local hoons drag racing their cars up and down the streets around town. Not the hotel's fault that there are stupid idiots that live in the neighbourhood so we can't mark them down for that.
They gave all triathletes a late checkout which was nice but it was still only an 11am checkout. it would have been nice to have an additional hour so that my fiancé could rest a little before having to shower, pack bike and gear etc etc.
