“Pretty awful”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Stayed here on a stinking hot day. No air conditioning in room as advertised. We have a baby so she couldnt sleep as it was so hot. A fan was provided however but that's not air conditioning!
The sinks were dirty and there was an old urine stain on the toilet seat I had to clean off. There were four pillows. Only 2 had pillow cases.
Fresh milk would have been nice for the cereal and tea provided. And just butter packets for the toast (no jam, honey etc) wasn't good enough.
I expected a lot more for $130 a night. Not impressed is an understatement.

Great value, great hospitality, clean comfortable and spacious. Lovely host.
We had booked somewhere else and moved because it was not what we expected.
Luckily we found the Old Bridge Inn which was just what we were looking for.

Cordaire, Manager at The Old Bridge Inn, responded to this review, December 30, 2011
It is a great stay. You have your own space plus you have the added benefit of community if you want it. The chef in the pub around the corner cooked for Richard Branson, everybody comes back to the Inn after a meal and speaks how beautiful it was. This is a truely unique building and the atmosphere is welcoming .

Thankyou
Diane Cordaire

This beautiful 1850's building is located on the Murrumbidgee River in the Historic town of Gundagai.
