“Great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

Stayed for 1 night but would of stayed longer if we had the time.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Byron but still with in walking distance and a quiet beach right next door.
Our host Donna was great and made you feel right at home.

We stayed here for two nights, but it wasn't really long enough. It's the best of all worlds -it close to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into Byron, but also felt like you were relaxing in the middle of nowhere; and while the owner Donna is incredibly helpful and friendly, it's also quite usual to have the place to yourself and be able to relax completely by the pool. The room was beautiful and felt so luxurious, while the free wifi was incredibly useful. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay here for two nights over Christmas. Our double room was very spacious, light and airy, and the whole property has a lovely feel to it. There's a very small pool and also a sauna and steam room, which were very nice to use! The location is really good - a 5-10 min walk to town and only about 200m from a beautiful, quiet beach. There are only 5 rooms and therefore you receive excellent, personal service - Tremaine and Donna, the owners, are so friendly and make a real effort with all the guests. Nice touches like free suncream add to the feeling of being properly looked after. If you're visiting Byron, I thoroughly recommend this hotel. A wonderful stay!

I stayed here for two nights with a friend, and absolutely loved this accommodation. It is a little out of town (about 20 min walk), but we had a car so no problem. It is such a chilled out place, neutral colours, high ceilings with a luxury beach house feel. There are only a few rooms, positioned around a central courtyard area with small pool. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable, and both felt totally relaxed when we left.

The buildings and arrangement have been designed with such attention to detail - tall ceilings, large rooms, shutters, pebbles, decking, palms. It's a little designer oasis away from the mecca of Byron town centre.

Breakfast was a plentiful continental with lovely fresh juice and daily papers. We were offered the free use of their sunscreen, beach umbrella and even taken to a local garage when our windscreen was broken, nothing was too much trouble.

I would totally return to this b&b. I wish them all the best.

After a long stressful work week in Melbourne, dealing with the day to day frustrations of the corporate world, my wife and I decided a quick weekend away in Byron was exactly what we needed. We arrived at Byron Cove Beach House and immediately fell in love with this white beach house haven. We were welcomed by Donna (the owner) who showed us our room, the pool, sauna and steam room. The communal dinning room is open and looks out onto the pool and neat green lush garden.

The room was very spacious, with clean white walls and high ceilings. It had all of the amenities including flat screen TV, iPod docking station, bar fridge, coffee and tea facilities and free Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable and linen was clean and crispy (very important to me!). The bathroom was clean and up to my wife's high standard (thank God!).

Breakfast the next morning was a selection of toast (fruit or whole meal), fresh fruit, yogurt and their acclaimed home-made muesli... which was really nice actually. Forget instant coffee, these guys have a DeLonghi coffee machine and make great expresso's and latte's.

Before heading out for the day, Donna and Tramain made their recommendations - a walk to the lighthouse followed by burgers and thick shakes at 'Top Shop'. Byron Bay is a great little sea-side town (with class) and offers a unique selection of quality restaurants, fashion boutiques, and gift shops. For the more active type, there is sky diving, kayaking with dolphins and hot-air ballooning. We were quite happy though with strolls alone the beach and through the markets.

All up, my wife and I had a great weekend away. Byron Cove Beach House is highly recommended and the owners were hospitable and friendly. Would definately go back there again....

Room Tip: All rooms are equally beautiful, have stayed in 2 and were very similar. All surrounding the pool an...

We stayed in September for 2 nights as were driving down the coast from Brisbane to Coffs long the decking to our room. There was a note on our door to welcome us, as it was out of hours. There was fresh fruit on the table and tea coffee facilities in the room. The book in the room containing information on the area was the best I have ever seen, thanks. The room was big, high ceiling, light and airy, very clean and fresh, beautifully presented. Bathroom also clean and large. The little pool was just outside our room and caused no issues at all. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, Donna was a great host and made special coffees for all the guests. The decor was just what I imagined for Byron Bay beach house , white, bleached timber, nautical touches. Short stroll to the town and the beach. Highly recommend it.

We stayed 5 nights at the Byron Cove Beach House.
The property is located just out of town - an easy 10 minute stroll along the beach or the road. Our host, Donna, was outstanding; efficient and very helpful with local recommendations.
The rooms are quiet, clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having drinks in the afternoon sun on the balcony outside our room.
The wifi doesn't work very well in the room, but it's fine in the pool area or dining room.
We would definitely stay again.
