Exceptionally busy restaurant which failed to deliver.

Our group was seated in an awkward corner despite reservations which had been made well in advance and then waited over 2 hours for our mains. During this period alcohol was frequently encouraged as were appetisers which we assumed may be complimentary (due to the long delay) but sadly were not.

Food was pleasant but not remarkable as would be expected to reflect the higher price point.

A bottle of sparkling water was noted to has started at our table but continued to fill glasses on another table despite ending up on our tab...yes a small point but attributed to our impression of sloppy service.

Overall a pleasant, pricey and unremarkable meal, salvaged only by the great company which we provided.

Position, position ,position. It's a bit too trendy and popular now though. Love Newrybar. Fresh fresh fresh food. Pick your days, weekends just too busy.

Great Coffee ("Allpress") excellent breakfasts and baked goods from their own wood fired oven. The service is usually always good and the town Newrybar is cute to visit with antique shop, deli, clothing boutique and well... that's about it. A nice stop-off on the road between Bangalow and Ballina.

Good food and coffee and desserts. They do a very good breakfast but be prepared to wait as it is usually very busy so service can be slow.

We love dining at Harvest. It is a pleasant drive from Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina. The staff are busy, efficient, but always make their service personal. The food is great. Gluten free breakfasts are delicious. In summer you can enjoy the balcony and in winter they have a wood fire and comfy couch where you can sit and snack while reading the Harvest copy of Maggie Beer's cookbook. Half an hour of this and all is right with the world again.
