“Low tide and long wait on the soup not worth $11.50”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Cold night...... good for some nice soup, but when it finally arrived after a..... long wait, the average size bowl was... half full, which when measured later was only equal to a mug full, we mentioned the low tide to the waitress but were ignored ???, and at the end.... when the manager was asking us what we thought of the meal we were boohooed about complaining about the small serve of soup worth about $7.50 at the max, and we felt ripped off, when chared $11.50. Get real Treehouse we came here to eat, not for a ration of soup, and toast at $11.50.( after that we didn't bother with the main meal, for fear that would be another ration). Atmosphere is not enough, the food should be good, quick and reasonably plentifull, other friends who were there also said their meals were really not to up to scratch..... won't be goin there again !.cheers Tezza

“Über cool funky little joint”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

What a delight to discover this gem in belongil beach ! Stayed at the backpackers behind this cafe and enjoyed many meals and drinks here during our stay. Great coffee, simple but delicious menu including tapas and wood fired pizzas, fantastic daily specials and delightful cocktails. Staff were friendly and obliging and the crowd that came here were a eclectic mix of Byron locals, backpackers, funky young 30 something's and us (well we fit into the 30 something bracket ok?!). They had live bands and dj's mixing up some brilliant tunes while we were there - I know they were great tunes because I and a number of others were madly shaman'ing them ! If you are in Byron and want a great spot to chill out - head to belongil and take in this little gem of utter uber coolness !

“A great place for a relaxed dinner”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

My husband and I shared a fabulous pizza and dessert on a Thursday night. Really delicious and great service too. The smell of the pizza oven and the musician, James T, added to the character of the place :)

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

The treehouse is tucked away on a side street but well worth the visit. You need a car if you are staying in Byron itself though.

We went in the winter and they had the fires going which was a lovely touch and made everything cosy.

Try their beer it's really good. The wood fired pizza are also great and good value too. They are large and definitely fill you up. The staff are great and really friendly. Definitely worth a visit

“Mulled wine!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

The hot mulled wine had us going back a second time. A great atmosphere with open fires and good, hearty meals to satisfy the hunger. Sticky ribs for entree were a treat and the beef cheek risotto was excellent! Oh, and did I mention the mulled wine....
