Lovely camp site , very busy but by far the most expensive place we have come across on any motorhome trip in oz and Europe right by the beautiful beach though no good for the budget minded shop around .

Great location. Fantastic, clean and modern facilities. Efficient staff.
But a bit of a concrete carpark - the lots are right next to each other and you don't exactly feel like you're 'on the beach' - even though you are.
Small children's playground was good for our two but wouldn't have kept them happy for much longer. Better than being in the 'heart' of Byron - it's only a 20min walk up the beach - but doesn't feel as idyllic as we were hoping.

Room Tip: don't pay extra for a 'beach' site if you're in a campervan - there's only about...

This caravan park is definitely one of the best in terms of position, cleanliness and amenities. The showers were awesome with plenty of hot water and great water pressure! The camp kitchens were well equipped and the kids playground was popular.
The only think I didn't like is that the campsites were gravel. We had these sandy little rocks everywhere and you couldn't sit down on the ground. I would have preferred a bit of soft grass to camp on but all in all, it was a great place to stay.

We will definitely return to this magical spot. Right next to the beach. Nice and clean grounds. Great facilities and a view to die for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camping spot to any family, loved it. We stayed for a week and it was too short.

I camp here every September school holidays with friends and family. We all love it. It is a little away from the hustle of Byron, yet close enough for a good walk in to town. Service is always good. They are always upgrading the park. Facilities are always clean. So love this place!

Room Tip: Cabins are very basic. Why not camp instead?!

We paid $45 for a powered site which we thought was expensive. Location was a 15 minute walk down the beach to town, but it was very nice being away from the town and to be right by the beach.

The site is very well maintained with clean facilities and 2 camp kitchens plus more cooking facilities overlooking the beach

Supposedly there is free wi-fi (a rarity in Australia so it seems) but we couldn't get it working at all and the staff said other guests had encountered difficulties too

There are lots of bush turkeys wandering around the camp which we had never seen before!

Overall we really liked the place, shame it wasn't cheaper but I guess you get what you pay for!

I have been a regular visitor to this place for a number of years now. It's a very popular caravan/camping/cabin place for good reason. Right on Clarkes beach which is a lovely north facing beach that is really just the southern end of the main Byron Bay beach. An easy 10 min flat walk to Byron Bay town along the beach or by the road but tucked away around the corner in a world of it's own. You do need to book ahead and will be very lucky to jag a booking in the busy periods. Highly recommended.
