We recently booked out the whole house for a long weekend with friends. It was the perfect place to stay with a large group as the house gave us the privacy of large rooms and ensuites as well as combined dining and relaxation areas. Each of the rooms were beautifully thought out and finished - not to mention spacious! Having stayed in the centre of Byron on previous weekends away it was so lovely and quite to be out in the residential area and to get into town was only a short walk away. Next trip away we will be booking here again for sure.

Stunningly Edwardian house, known as a "Queenslander" with a lovely terrace and garden. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard in the last 18 months. Our room was immaculate and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The bathroom was gorgeous and with a unique double shower arrangement. Diane is hospitable and friendly. Another real plus is that guests have free use of bicycles and this proved to be a real asset in terms of getting around town. Although bfast is not served, we would recommend a cool cafe up the road called The Top Shop. We had a wonderful time.

We like this charming, old-looking with a welcoming porch and new decorations. Surroundings are very quiet, a lot of trees and birds. Our room was very clean and well-decorated . The bathroom was spotless clean, all white, we liked the shower with led blue and red lights. (I think, all the rooms and bathrooms are differently decorated, and are of different sizes). We had our breakfast on the great porch, (no breakfast is provided but you have the facility to prepare your own). Wifi was fast - the best , we had during our trip in Australia.
The owner is very friendly and very discrete.
From the house, we have a small walk until Byron main street, or until beaches (around 15mn walk). We had a good run until the lighthouse, with its gorgeous view and sunset.
We recommend this house for couples.

What an excellent place! Immaculately clean, beautifully maintained and furnished in keeping with historic federation charm. Nice wraparound porch on which to sit and enjoy the sun. Great bathrooms with twin rain-style showerheads. Location is perfect. It's in a quiet residential street, but only a short walk to the beach and to centre of town for restaurants, bars, clubs etc. No breakfast, which would have been nice, but it's a only a short walk to cafes. Diane was lovely to talk to, with great tips on things to do and see in the area.

We loved this place when we stayed in December 2013. I would recommend it to anyone however I would not call it a B&B as they do not serve breakfast and I would also recommend you ask if there are any kids staying over the time that you have booked as the walls are very thin!!
