We love to visit this Gallery and drool over the beautiful wood furniture, jewelry boxes and other fine wooden products. The star this time was a $1.5 million cabinet - a 23c gold, shell, jewelry and marquestry piece with 63 drawers and even hidden areas - a 6.5 year work by a master cabinet maker.
The café is not very fancy in layout but the food is very good. We ate delicious food, delivered quickly with country prices and quantities. My hot lamb salad with saffron chick peas and mint yoghurt was superb - compared to either city or country restaurants. The staffing was generous when we visited last, albeit we have also been there when food has taken some time. Coffee and cakes are available.
You need to pick your time to visit on a Sunday as it can be very busy.
