Stopped in for a recommended pub lunch. Every one at the table got something different in the menu and it was all average. I wouldn't say I would return for the food. Bit of a let down as the spot is beautiful.

We've stayed in many pubs over the years, and this is one of the best. We stayed on a Tuesday night out of season so it was quiet. However, most of the features we liked will always be there. The building itself dates back to the 1940s. I was lucky enough to meet a couple who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary by coming back to the place they stayed for their honeymoon. Apart from the beer garden, everything was as they remembered. This gives you some idea of the feel of this place. The room we had was small but the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were clean and crisp. There was a handbasin, bedside tables, wardrobe, fan and french doors on to the balcony overlooking the beer garden. The bathroom and toilet facilities are shared (male and female and unisex). They were very clean and well appointed. There's off street parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend this pub and will certainly stay again.

There are no faults. The pub has good clean, reasonably priced rooms. The staff are a joy and the food is delightful. The town is picturesque and it's proximity to beach, that is to say, it is only 200 metres, is Nirvana for surfers and sun-lovers.

We ate at this great pub several times while staying at Brunswick Heads. Great food, not your usual pub fare but more up market although at very reasonable prices. Great outdoor environment with large umbrellas. The night time entertainment was good too. Kids were also well catered for.

This pub is awesome! Very popular and friendly pub which is opposite the river. The tables are outside with umbrellas surrounded by big shady trees. The food is excellent - you really get your money's worth. Cannot fault the excellent staff. We went here on a Saturday and the live band that started playing was awesome - played some of the the best music I've heard in a long time!! Well worth a vist to this pub - will definitely be going back for more.
