The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely a good deal. It was difficult to decide what to order as it all sounded amazing. I was very pleased with all 3 courses.

We had a weekend back at Milton Park after getting married there in Feb of 2013... We had been told that we might not get a seat near the window, however to our surprise the manager had organised a table at the window for us with an amazing flower arrangement for our special occasion.

The staff have always been fantastic to us, you will never wait more then a few minutes for a drink and the courses are served promptly.

Some amazing wine choices to accompany dinner are on hand, our picks on the menu are the amazing Scampi and Beef Fillet.

We are always trying to find a place closer to home for the Scampi but honestly Hordens are second to none!

Happy eating :)

Great start, slow finish.

Our intimate Valentine’s Day dinner at Hordern’s started well. Welcome champagne, attentive staff, great atmosphere and a tasty menu selection. Charming flood lit garden views in a romantic setting of subdued lighting and candles. My coeliac wife was well catered for by knowledgeable wait staff. The attentive service continued during our outstanding entrees and main meals. Unfortunately, as the restaurant became busier, the wait staff become a little stretched but remained hospitable and attentive when we did get their attention. And so our magnificent desserts were somewhat delayed but well worth the wait.

The tardy service continued with our tea and coffee order albeit with cheerful staff when it finally arrived. It was only then did we feel that we might have accidently transposed from a fine dining restaurant to our local café, complete with colored cafe tea pot and sugar sachets hanging out of a small cup. Oh how we missed a small serving tray containing an elegant white teapot with matching cup, saucer and sugar container with a diminutive spoon with which to stir our Twinings. Nobody seemed interested in my credit card until I accosted a staff member who returned some 20 minutes later with our account. We were then literally left in the dark in trying to find our way back to the car park.

We will return though for another sumptuous meal in outstanding surroundings albeit with a torch and time up our sleeves.

This was our treat while we were staying in Bowral for the weekend. The location for this restaurant in Milton Park is wonderful. It's definitely worth getting there early to take a wander around the beautiful grounds and gardens and take a drink in the bar.

The food was wonderful - we had the scallops with black pudding, lamb and venison, all of which were beautifully cooked. A great choice of wines including some from the Southern Highlands.

A great evening and it didn't break the bank either!

Thank Alex H
