From first arrival to check out, can't fault this place: strongly recommended.

The building is very old and has been well-maintained but kept in character, complemented by a pretty front garden and mid-resort courtyard. The rooms are clean and well-kept in fitting with the old style, except the new bathrooms. There were plenty of extra blankets as well as two heaters though we did not need them as it was springtime. There is ample parking though not under cover.

Facilities are plentiful: heated indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna (heaven!), pool tables, ping pong tables, and two outdoor tennis courts (these could use some TLC but are still usable). The buffet breakfast is high standard with lots of variety (did not try dinner on this short stay).

Staff are friendly and professional, especially the front desk with lots of local knowledge helped us make the most of our stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet. There are no lifts and no baggage service, but only two floors so not far to ca...

We stayed at the berida manor for two days with a group from botanica, the meals were lovely, and we enjoyed our pre dinner drinks in the bar area, the hotel is very old fashioned and could do with a bit of a makeover, but overall it was clean and comfortable....we were in room 30 and could have done with the curtains being thicker as the lights from outside shone in the room...

Room Tip: we did have a nice big room in room 30, and a big bay window, but was adjoining the car park, but if...

If you don't enjoy a sleep-in on a wet, freezing Sunday morning then this is the place for you. Bowral can be cold at any time outside the summer but we expected our room would be warm.
It wasn't.
We travelled with another couple and had two rooms. We enjoyed a Saturday night dinner at Biota then briskly walked back to our room which was little warmer than being outside. Nonetheless the room was clean and spacious enough.
Bowral is a town you go to for a weekend retreat. It has character and charm but having to be up early to chug down breakfast and be ready to vacate the room early on a Sunday morning when nothing is open was ridiculous. We had each asked for an extension...even an hour would have been nice, but no, there would be no exceptions.
Perhaps it is also used as a military training facility.

Room Tip: Find a warm one in winter.

My mum and i always travel to the tulips festival held early October. We stayed at the Berida Manor . We were delighted with the service the friendliness of the staff and the Old world Charm of the Manor. We were given a brief history of the manor which was very interesting.
I felt the value for money was excellent. The rooms and amenities were comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Had a relaxing swim in the heated pool, enjoyed the sauna and spa, as well ! You truly wont be disappointed.

Room Tip: Learn of the history, its interesting

We stayed one night on our way home from Perth and we were really looking forward to the beautiful heated pool and spa - we were not disappointed. The restaurant is not open Monday nights so we went across the road to the Golf Club. Our room was clean and comfortable and the heaters worked well but the power point was difficult to get to behind the TV. The bathroom was very small and definitely a one person at a time place. Breakfast was ok with a reasonable selection.

Comfy, quiet, plenty of room, a 5-10 minute walk to town. Value for money. This old mansion suited us for a stopover. There is a lot of rooms to use - boards, chess in loungeroom with open fires. Very cosy when it's cold outside.

With a group I spent two nights and three days for a Christmas in July in 2013. The owners Lida and Matthew were excellent hosts and very obliging. The meals were excellent (a substantial buffet breakfast and three course evening meals) and it has a well stocked bar. Berida Manor certainly has an old world charm, which is difficult to find these days, and I would certainly stay there again. It was cold when we visited and it was wonderful sitting in the guest lounge in front of the log fire at the end of the day. Also we were able to enjoy a swim in the indoor pool and relax in the sauna and spa.

Room Tip: I looked at a number of rooms and they all provide a comfortable spacious accommodation with very go...
