Tried this cafe for the first time during the weekend. It’s located in the beautiful town of Bowral (1.5 hrs from Sydney). On entry from the main street we are greeted by the shop front, stocking beautiful organic fresh fruit & veg plus nuts and seeds and other goodies. As we proceed through the aisles we enter the cafe, which can be directly accessed from the back (alternate) door. We ordered 3 main dishes plus a side of roasted kipfler potatoes. All our dishes were vegetarian so can't comment on their meaty stuff! The food was really fresh and delicious and the highlight was the 'roasted vege roll' with yummy filling and a unique pastry covering. The cafe was full during lunch hour and finding a seat can be sometimes difficult as few of the tables were reserved, so maybe a prior booking can be helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful, portion size good with prices slightly on the higher side; but from my perspective worth it due to the organic produce used.
We left with our tummies full for a walk along the main st (bong bong st) and explored the town a bit. Returned back to the cafe 1.5 hrs later for round 2! This time it was desert and coffee time and we tried 'carrot and linseed cake', 'fruit & cinnamon log' and 'orange & lemon friand'. The first two were yummy but the last one was so-so. Coffees were awesome considering we drink soy milk. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the food and look forward to another visit in Dec'14.
