These apartments were clean, modern & fresh & just the thing for a few days stay. However, we decided we would like to use the bath so asked reception for a plug as there was none. Next day, housekeeping staff came to our room with a crux & a tea towel, but even though I explained I wanted a plug & not a tea towel, we never received the plug! When cooking in the apartment, make sure window is open as smoke detector goes off very easily even when using the exhaust fan! Another tip is to ensure you don't leave clothes on floor while taking a shower as they will get soaking wet, as water gets between the glass dividers. Also make sure no one in your party has stiffness of limbs, as its quite a massive step over bath rim to enter shower!

Room Tip: All apartments fairly equal as far as I could tell.

Last minute stop over and on entering the spacious , stylish rooms wish we were staying the week! Family of four comfortable in a one bedroom apartment with plenty of space. Gas fire a lovely touch . Disabled studio room for my elderly parents a real hit as well .

Well located and within walking distance to town. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which is located quite a long walk (when you consider you are dragging luggage around) from the car park. There are stairs to contend with, which made it quite difficult with the heavy suitcases.
Upon arrival we noted immediately that there was black hair, soap scum, grot and filt all over one of the bathroom floors. It was clear that it was not just a once off "miss" as the amount would have been from not being cleaned properly over time. The freezer smelt like rotten fish and the heater did not work...it wasnt overly cold....so we could live without it, but shouldnt have to.
We were not able to report the cleaning issue until the next day as the office was closed by the time we went past to report it. The following day we were assured that the cleaners would be notified, however nothing was cleaned while we were out during the day. Again the office was closed, we called a mobile number we later found by the phone, left a message and to date we are still waiting for a call back. Might not get one now since we are all back home! $800 for a weekend should have brought us a clean unit.

In a rather ordinary block of units - you drive through a modern gated community-like estate to arrive at a car park located beside a 2 storey non-descript block of apartments. However, upon opening the door to our unit, we were greeted by a bright airy, modern & well designed & thoughtfully funished apt.

This is our 3rd stay (as members of the Accor Vaction Club) & the apartments are well maintained & spotlessly clean. They have studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms & even 3 bedoom apts. Our most recent stay was in a 1 bedroom which was very well planned in tems of space usage. A decent lounge/dining with an open kitchen concept, the area is nicely flooded with natiral light from the balcony glass doors at 1 end of the room. There is a sofa bed and all the necessary mod cons one expects today. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pan, utensils, glassware, crockery & cutlery (for 4 persons). A flat screen TV with dvd/cd player and a nice gas heater is in the living area. The bedroom has sliding doors allowing you to open up the space. There is another TV in the bedoom. The unit also has its own washing machine & dryer.

Overall, everything you need for a nice extnded stay to explore the area. Just about the only negative thing I can say is that the beds are too soft. A firmer mattress would have been better. The sofa bed mattress has also seen better days.

The grounds are fairly bare but well kept with a nice heated indoor pool and a very small gym that has new equipment. I definitely would reommend this place & its proximity to Bowral own centre (a leisurely 5 min stroll) makes this a good base to explore the entire Southern highlands.

Room Tip: Directly opposite the Grand Mercure is the Biota resturant. Absolutely top rate - easily the best re...

We had a one bedroom apartment. Well presented and with everything provided including a full kitchen with hotplates, oven and microwave and full size fridge with freezer. Maybe a bit more lighting in the kitchen area would help. At the start of our stay the old TV was replaced with a flat screen plasma and also a new DVD player. There was another smaller flat screen TV in the bedroom. The chairs were comfy and there was a two person spa in the bathroom. The king size bed was lovely and very comfortable.

Our only criticism was that a bit more care could b taken with cleaning. We found a few areas that seemed to be missed, especially a dirty frypan. Overall a nice weekend away and we will be returning in the future.

Room Tip: Maybe try and choose a room back from the street. Sometimes the traffic noise intrudes.

This apartment was nice, but it really needed a good clean. Dust was everywhere, the shower leaked onto the tile floor so bathmat was soaked after shower and food crumbs were left on counter. Our firends in the next room had a very dirty fridge and even after complaining it was not cleaned.

A beautiful place and especially enjoyed the indoor heated pool. Would suggest bringing your own laptop, tablet as only local calls available in the hotel. We enjoyed the Berkelouw books and shopping in the main road and the Green Leaf Thai restaurant was very good and very affordable. Their is a kitchen so you can cook your own meals.
