We've had the pleasure of eating at the Mimosa Winery Restaurant twice this year, and have been impressed on both occasions. The first was an anniversary lunch - just the 2 of us - the service was friendly and the food (paella for 2 and some excellent desserts) was most enjoyable.
On the second occasion we went with 54 other members of the Alliance Française de la Côte de Saphir for Bastille Day lunch. Glenn and Gail provided a French inspired menu with plenty of variety, and the food was up to everyone's expectations. We enjoyed a delicious bouillabaisse and canard à l'orange plus excellent poached pear desserts. Everyone commented very positively about the various dishes, and the ambience was warm, friendly and relaxed. Considering the number of people to be served, the kitchen and floor staff did a great job. Glenn and Gail were enthusiastic about our Bastille Day celebration, even providing some outstanding local entertainment and decorating the room. On both occasions we enjoyed a Mimosa rosé, but the wine list offers variety and quality.
All in all, we couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough for an enjoyable, satisfying lunch experience in glorious surrounds.
