Dropped in here for lunch after the lady in the Pineapple shop downstairs recomended it. We had the Antipasto platter ($30) to share and a Pizza with pancetta and rocket ($20).
The Antipasto was amazeballs. Gorgeous arancini, salumi, and procuitto, A fresh (not tinned) beetroot, goats cheese and walnuts salad, a warm pumpkin and pine nut salad, some green beans with a delicate little zing of anchovy and some capsicum pickle. Two types of olives and some crusty toasted pane de casa. Every mouthful was a beautiful surprise. If you go there you must order this : )
The Pizza was delicious. Perfect base (oh how I hate those commercial gluggy pizza bases) homemade tomato sauce, generous amounts of crispy pancetta and cheese. Fresh rocket and a drizzle of olive oil on top and straight to the table.
Service was crisp and clean. Our waier was immaculate and it made for a pleasant change not having to ask for water to be refilled etc. She kept and eye on about 7 tables and never missed a beat.
This is a great restaurant. Super fesh produce, cooked with love. I just KNEW there were girls in the kitchen!!!!
