“Absolutely one of our favourites”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

We had 5 fabulous days here in March 2014. We stayed here last year too. Perfect for us, the little town and the excellent club are right on your doorstep. With plenty of riverfront sites the park is like baby bear's chair, not too big or too small! There are lovely walks along the River Murray. Koondrook (and Victoria) with it's chainsaw carvings, are just a short stroll over the old 'lift' bridge. With friendly hosts, pleasant amenities, a good variety of shops, a great golf club nearby, this park is definitely one of our absolute favourites and really good value for money.

We stayed here for a few nights and really relaxed and had the best of times. We enjoyed the full on roaring fire in the camp kitchen which is very clean and well equipped. The sites are big and offer lots of shade if needed or sunlight in the cooler months. We love coming here and hope to many many more times, thanks Kay and Greg the amenities are good clean and hot water is HOT.
Great golf course too and you can walk into the little town to dine in some nice places too.

Room Tip: There are clean Jayco cabins to rent also and en suites for caravans

We stayed here again in early January. We hadn't been up here for a while, but we certainly enjoyed coming back, it was just how we remembered the place. Kay and Greg and the best hosts. Can't compliment them enough. The park was in immaculate condition, as usual, and even though there were a number of guests about, it was and peaceful and calming stay. We booked again for this coming Christmas, and can't wait for that time to come around.

Room Tip: Anywhere in the park is a great stay

We have stayed in this caravan park on various occasions previously and have always enjoyed it so we keep coming back. This time in the summer holidays and the place is still immaculate. On a lovely grasses site just 30 metres from the mighty Murray River, who could ask for more. There is an excellent sand bar on the edge of the river which makes an excellent swimming spot for cooling off. The camp kitchen has great facilities and the amenities are always spotless and tidy. Kay and Greg live on the property and keep a good eye on everything to make sure they maintain this very high standard. It always pays to book ahead as they have some very busy periods depending on what is happening around town. The club is only 60 metres walk away from the edge of the park so makes visiting the club for a meal and a few drinks very easy.

Room Tip: Site 75 is a large caravan site at the back of the camp kitchen and very close to the river with fan...

What a wonderful place. We emailed the day before looking for a river view site, soon after Kay responded & booked us in. When we got there we were welcomed with a friendly greeting from Kay & personally guided to our site. This site had the most beautiful green grass & view to match it, a short stroll to a white sandy beach. The camp kitchen & toilets/showers are the cleanest you'll see. A 50mtr walk to pubs, clubs & shops, all so perfect. Top marks Barham Caravan park, we will be back.

We booked an ensuite site for the Australia day long weekend. Park managers where very helpful and personally helped us with positioning our van on site. The site we had was shady and had beautiful couch grass lawn. The ensuite was a bit on the small side but practical and very clean. The sites aren't huge but have enough room to park your vehicle . The park was very quiet and peaceful and we thoroughly our stay.
The only thing that this park lacks is a swimming pool.

Glad you enjoyed your time at our park. We think it is a piece of paradise. We have no pool as we are on the banks of the Murray river & the sand bar is currently being refurbished for our guests enjoyment. Hope to see you again one day.
Kind Regards, Kay . Owner/manager.
