We thought we had accidentally travelled in a time machine to the 1800s in the French countryside! We stayed in the Tower Suite and had the entire top level to ourselves. There are all the touches you expect from an exclusive guesthouse - French linens, toasty warm bathrobes, complimentary wine, port and cheese - and furnished elegantly yet comfortably using Sharon's superb interior design expertise and love of everthing French. Breakfast - fresh fruit, muesli, juices, croissants, Bryon coffee and hot second course if you wish. It's no wonder we had to wander around the property to visit their horses and to the nearby reserve to walk all those delicious calories. 10 mins to a cute village called Alstonville, less than 1 hr from Bryon Bay - definitely worth a destination visit when exploring the Far North NSW.
