My wife and I had supper at the Baldachin. There is a pub side and a dining room side - same menu. We chose to eat on the dining room side. The decor and atmosphere were very nice. Unfortunately, however, the food wasn't great (only "okay"). It is overpriced for what you get in terms of portion size and quality. For example, we ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. It was $9.99, but only included two small pieces and lots of greens (read way too many). It was tasty, but far too small for the price. Also, we both had sandwiches and the buns were toasted to the point of being hard. The prime rib on mine was almost burned. In addition, the service was mediocre. The waitress was pleasant enough, but never came back to check on us and it took a long time for her to remove our dishes after we finished eating, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. We decided to go elsewhere for dessert rather than risk being disappointed further. Overall, the Baldachin was "okay", but wasn't great and we wish we had gone elsewhere.
