“A 3 mile walk along a lovely stretch of coast”

Cremyll to Kingsand Walk
Reviewed August 27, 2013

This is an easy walk through the trees and out into the sunshine as you approach Kingsand. There are some steps to assist with the inclines and clear markers for the footpath.

Got the Cremyll Ferry and took the coastal walk to Kingsand and then Cawsaw. It was a beautiful sunnt day and the views were breathtaking. On days like that you wonder how many of us would venture abroad if we could only guarantee the weather here ? Popped up to the top of the Folly on the way and it was a great 31/2 to 4 miles walk to blow the cobwebs out from the night before. The girls did feel the up and down on their legs, but everyone enjoyed the experience..... And there are pubs at the end lol

Superb views, easy gradient in the most part. Signposted throughout, mixture of woodland and cliffs and formal gardens. Loads of wildlife including deer.

Love the views and the variety, through Mount Edgcumbe country park, then the woods, then overlooking the sea, down into Kingsand and the pubs there and in Cawsand. One or 2 places the path isn't quite clear, but easily overcome.

A lovely walk, don't miss out on the Mount Edgecumbe gardens or Maker Church on the edge of the deer park. From here you can walk back down to the sea and take the coast path to Kingsand. Lovely.
