Lovely looking cafe inside and out. The food choices were limited especially if you didn't want to eat bread or pastry and the prices seemed high for what you got. Service wasn't great: it felt understaffed and haphazard - different sized bowls for the same menu item, butter put next to a hot bowl so it was melted before reaching the table and some of the soups had herbs on top, others in the same order didn't. The bottled fizzy water was due to be removed but hadn't been so was sold for 50p but was flat. It felt as if the staff couldn't cope and the manager wasn't particularly friendly at all - we felt as if we were an inconvenience really! Having said that I believe the manager has only been there for 2 of the 3 weeks the cafe has been open this season so it's early days and if we are in the area we would go back for a drink and to take in the view at least.
