“Great value”

The best way to get across the Tamar. A chain ferry that runs all day and in to the night. Can have queues up to 20 mins at peak times but well worth £1.50 for the return trip.

“fast , slick service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 25, 2012

This cuts off so many driving miles if toy want Ramehead, Kingsand, Cawsand and Whitsand bay.
Free to enter Cornwall from Plymouth but a £1.50 (car) charge to get back.
The waiting time is about 10 minutes but if you time it right you get on almost straight away.
I take this route 4/6 times a year and love the 30 minute time out from driving. - get out out on the crossing and view the Tamer and take a photo or two.

“photo needs updating”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

This is a modern ferry service with 3 ferries often in service during peak times. The photo alongside needs updating! Useful for going to many parts of the Cornwall coast near the Tamar.

“Does the job for a reasonable price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Good view of Naval Dockyard and Tamar bridges. Modest toll best paid in cash. A useful alternative to the bridge.
