This small diner has a homey atmosphere and friendly servers. Food is reasonably priced, and always delicious (yesterday I tried the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich - yum! and the peanut butter pie...double YUM!) We live about 2 hours away, but when visiting relatives, we often like to stop here for dinner :-)

don't be fooled by the backwater location. The dining in this restaurant is delightfully affordable and full of tasty suprises. From stuffed pepper soup, juicy burgers, an amazing reuben and a salad full of nuts and fresh vegetables, there was something for everyone at the table. Down home cooking with full bodied flavor finds it way into every dish. The cooks in this restaurant know their stuff!

Before getting to the getting to the actual review, I'd like to attempt to have TripAdvisor correct the accompanying map to this site. Current map shows someplace in NY nowhere close. Once corrected this part of the comments should be removed by TripAdvisor.

This is a great casual place to meet with friends and family. The food is good, fresh and mostly "home cooking" style. There are specials every night and the place is always busy with folks from the surrounding area, plus some travelers off the nearby Interstate 79.

While the food is very good, it is the dessert list that deserves special attention. I rarely eat dessert, but if I do, it is here. A varying list of homemade pies is what you should look at before you consider ordering the rest of your meal.

The owner is always in house and knows and welcomes a majority of the guests. Service is really good even when they are busy. We road trip thousands of miles each year and love to find places such as this on our way.

A group of six to ten of us meet each Tuesday night for dinner. Before another local restaurant closed, we almost always went there out of habit. Now we rotate to different restaurants, but The Yellow Creek Inn is now the favorite.

I always liked the Yellow Creek but on my last visit the food wasn't great for anyone in my party (4 people). Usually it's good food but it just wasn't up to their standards on the last visit.

Located on State Road 62 east of the I-79 exit 121 toward Franklin. Go east about half a mile; restaurant on left side of road in Jackson Center..

This is a relatively small family owned establishment. They prepare home cooked meals, soups, sandwiches, and have a bar. They also have an extensive variety of pies and desserts.

Prices are more than reasonable.

The atmosphere is laid back and low key which means you can relax and eat your meal and catch your breath.

The service is good, friendly, and prompt.
