The owners (both successful designers) have got an eye for design, colour and fabrics. The rooms are elegantly designed and very comfortable. The en-suite was also excellent The dining and lounge area is comfortable and spacious with interesting design features. It is worth paying a bit more to stay here rather than elsewhere if you are looking for a bit more comfort.
The breakfasts were tasty and well-cooked. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They have also provided a well-stocked communal tea/coffee area (free N'Espresso machine and plenty of tea choices), which is a clever use of space and a generous gesture which signals the quality of service one can expect from the owners.
This immediate part of the Lizard is not as picturesque as other Cornish villages, so the B&B's immediate surroundings do not do it any favours (it's front facade faces the municipal green/car park). Fortunately, the owners have partly addressed this by creating a small green oasis that envelopes the house. Also, it is only a short walk to the gorgeous coast. Its location also means that parking is an absolute doddle (and there is plenty) - which counts for a lot when you compare it to other places we've stayed in Cornwall.
All in all, this B&B is very comfortable and ticks all of the boxes - highly recommended.
