Indeed I am sure it was battered by the storms however much of the beauty remains and this place really is majestical - we went along a few times during our visit but during the evening and we found often we were one of only a few there.
The Kids had fun making dams and collecting rocks. Us parents were able to sit back and enjoy watching them explore, climb and generally do what kids should do, 'Play'.
It is a Cove and access is therefore via a footpath and a series of steep steps but the National Trust have done a Stirling job in making it as accessible as possible.
You won't be disappointed in a visit!

My partner &I returned to kynance cove in march 2014. After spending most of our time there in 2013 we fell in love with the place & had to go back,SHOCK HORROR we found our kynance had been battered so badly by recent storms & so much had been damaged.Crumbling cliffs boulders rocks & pebbles covered what once was beautiful white sands, we were devastatingly saddened to see the most beautiful place in the world had been annyilated by the force of nature

Kynance cove has to be one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited.
On dull days I cheer myself up with my memories of a warm sunny day having a picnic on the cliff overlooking Kynance and the Lizard. Not forgetting to mention the naughty cream tea we consumed at the kynance Cafe.
A very special place indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!

A truly stunning location which you need to be able to access on foot. It's about a mile from the National Trust Car Park and a bit of a climb back, especially of the steps are open. The cafe offers a decent option with a stunning backdrop across the Cove.

we went out of season and glad we did as if it was in season I think you would have trouble to park. The trip is well worth it though with stunning views.Lovely walk down to the beach with a stop in the café/restaurant which can highly recommend for the cream teas and range of food, there is also a quaint gift shop which is well worth a look even if its a chat with guy behind the counter as he is very quirky and nice.
