Had seen a picture of the cove on the info board at our campsite and knew we had to go. Easy to find and a National Trust carpark which charges (approx £5) but NT members free - bonus. Two routes down to cove from carpark one a slopig path and the other cliff/steps. We went the cliff/steps route and as the cove came into view- WOW it was just gorgeous it was like looking at a beach in Thailand. The water was crystal clear and the sun was highlighting the cove beautifully. Once down there it was quite rocky to the back of the cove towards the cafe but walk around and an island of sand appeared surrounded by rocks. Watch the tide as it comes in quickly covering the whole cove so its best to call in the cafe or sunbathe on the cliff top. Well worth a visit especially on a sunny day.
