An amazing and beautiful place. Water was freezing so a wetsuit might be a good plan. Bit of a trek to the Cove from the car park but well worth it. The cafe was difficult to access from the beach as were the toilets so possibly a beach better suited for older children and adults, especially as the waves were huge with a strong undercurrent

Great scenery, nice beach, good cafe. Dont forget your swimming neoprene if you want to go in the water.

I really don't think this beach can be beaten in terms of beauty and fun for the family. Bit of a trek down from the car park so not brilliant for pushchairs as steps involved. However, it is worth every step. The view is breathtaking. There is a stunning coastal walk to the Lizard Point and a lovely tea room serving delicious snacks. The beach has huge caves and rockpools, the kids were happy for hours playing in the waves and building castles in the sand. Can't do the place justice, you have to see for yourself.

So lovely you almost don't want to tell other people about it. Hire a wet suit if it is cold so you can still swim at Kynance. Great cafe there.

Lovely beach and views at kynance cove.

Even better if you are a national trust member :) as you park for free.

Be advised that the walk down and back up to the beach is difficult, sensible shoes and may not be suitable for some people due to the steepness.

The beach is clean
