Went to Lizard point during half term and boy did we pick the best day of the week. Walked the coast, fabulous views, stunning views, my best day of the week.
Sat outside in the sunshine eating cake at the end of October; how good is that.
Sunny as it was I am not sure I would have gone surfing but there were people in the water.
Poppy the dog loved the walk as did my hubby and daughter........if you like walking in beautiful scenery then Lizard point is for you. Nice cafe as well, what more could you ask for.

Gorgeous views, lovely ice cream & a great place for a short walk. We had a fabulous couple of hours in the sunshine & would definitely go back.

We highly recommend the walk from Lizard Point light house (A National Trust car park) to Kynanca Cove. It took about 1.5 hours to get there, so it's a good long walk, but boy oh boy were the views beautiful! If you just want to drive directly to Kynance Cove, this can be done as well. You MUST check the tide times, and go when the tide is low. Kids were even body boarding there - in October! (Some did have wetsuits) Had lots of fun exploring the sea caves, and had a nice tea and ice cream at the snack shop, which was fairly priced. What a great day we had!

We visited Kynance Cove in September and it is a spectacular place. There is a large car park and then you walk quite a long way down to the cove. The footpath is excellent and we found it fairly easy going...a bit harder coming back up tho! There is a little cafe at the bottom where you can get refreshments which was lovely as it was drizzling and we managed to get in out of the rain. There are some toilets by the cafe which were spotless.
