“Stunning Stunning location!!!”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Just arrived home from this amazing caravan park, and I can say 100% we will be returning!! Our caravan was basic but clean and far better equipped than many caravans that we have stayed in. The view from our window was stunning and luckily for us the weather was fine almost all week. The staff were all friendly and helpful, in particular Ray the supervisor/manager who was always cheerful and genuinely seemed to love his job and who wouldn't working here every day!! Kennack sands was a lovely beach and we had good fun in the rock pools!! Kynance cove, what can I say? Jaw dropping beach at low tide, you MUST visit!!! Cornwall is the most perfect part of England and Sea acres compliments it completely. Cant fault it.

Stayed in a Polpoer caravan as a family of 7.

Well worth paying the bit extra. Lovely fittings, comfy bed and french doors out to decking with super view.

We didn't use the facilities much as we used it as a base, but did use the take-away for dinner. Very good standard of food & piping hot.

The beach down from the site was very nice with a good cafe next to it.

Overall a clean site in a very good location. Would recommend...

We stayed here for the last week of July 2013.
Our accommodation (polpoer) wasn't ready when we arrived early but the helpful reception staff took our number and promised to call when ready. The site is in a stunning location with beaches a short walk away and also stunning coastal pathways actually go through the site.

The park itself is on the small side but was perfect for our needs with a small shop, takeaway, arcade and indoor swimming pool all on site. The evening entertainment was also quite good. There is also an 18 hole pitch and putt course which overlooks the stunning Kennack sands.

The caravan itself was extremely spacious and clean. French doors onto the decking was also a nice feature and we often found ourselves sat outside the van (on the provided outdoor furniture) soaking up the amazing views of the Lizard peninsula.

The site itself is quite isolated so a car is a must but is perfect for exploring western Cornwall.
A day out at Lands End was great and you MUST stop off at Porthcurno beach which is possibly the nicest beach we've ever been on. Kynance cove was also stunning and is only a couple of miles from the site.

Cannot wait to go back to this perfect site

We stayed for the week 9th - 16th August.

On arrival I was pleased to find we had been upgraded from the 2 bed caravan we had booked to a 3 bed. Surprising considering it was August but the park seemed quite quiet and the caravan next to us was empty for a few days.

We were in caravan No 1, right next to all the amenities which was perfect - my 5 and 3 year old were able to safely play in the play area in full view of the caravan. There was a big and safe field to the back and even a pitch and putt course beyond that. We didn't spend a lot of time on site, we were out, but it was a lovely peaceful place.

The entertainers were very enthusiastic with the kids on the couple of occasions we took them to the tots activities, even though they were the only ones there.

My one gripe? Service in the restaurant was not great and one night we waited ages for the food to come out even though there was hardly anyone there and when it did it was so red hot the children couldn't eat it for ages, my youngest burnt his tongue - there was pandemonium.

Everything else great though and I wouldn't knock a star off just for one small incident such as that.

We booked a 3 night break for me, my hubby & 18 month daughter in August at this caravan site, I was slightly apprehensive as not stated at a parkdean before but was pleasantly surprised. On arrival we were able to check in early & given a upgrade caravan as one was available. The caravan was clean, well equipped & had fab views of the coastline. The park itself was kept beautifully & not as large as expected which was lovely! The soft play hut was great for rainy days but unfortunately the indoor pool was in need of updating & smelt of bleach! This is the only critism I have. The entertainment was a little cringey but what you'd expect! Staff really helpful & plenty for little kids to do! The location is just perfect & I would definatley book again!

We took our second visit to this site recently and as before we were very impressed. Our immaculate caravan had a sea view, with a lovely terrace area. The caravan was well equipt, up to date and most of all clean.
The site is quiet but has all that you need. Evening entertainment is limited.
The local area is stunning, and l would highly recommend this park.

We stayed at sea acres in August 2013, I cannot say enough how good this caravan park is.
It was our maiden voyage in a static, and weren't disappointed. We stayed in a Gunwalloe caravan, 2 bedrooms. With full cooker with grill, fridge and small freezer, microwave. All untensils and pans to cook.
We were in 28, right next to the clubhouse and reception, no problems with noise.
Our daughter loved the pool, especially inflatable time. All was very clean.
They had a huge outside inflatable for the kids to use free, weather permitting.
Shop was good, yes more expensive than supermarkets, but handy for breads and milk. We used tesco at helston, 10 min drive away.
All in all we had a perfect holiday, visiting all the lovely coves and villages around the area.
