We've been staying at holiday parks around Cornwall i.e., Newquay, St. Ives, Perranporth and found this holiday park was the most fantastic and fabulous location. The park was not too big size, very clean and had the best sea view overlooking the Kennack Sands cove.

We stayed in Kennack caravan which was located in the front row next to the 9-hole golf course. Only Kennack (Caravan no.34-43) and Poldhu (No. 44-52) were on the front row which have best sea view, the Polbream (No. 53-55; 87) were also in the front but located a bit too far at the end. The caravan was quite new and clean.... don't expect too much like Sheraton or 5-star hotels... it's still the caravan and it's the best condition you can imagine. Staff was friendly. The park had restaurants and convenient shop. The only thing I didn't like was the road which was very narrow... but it was everywhere in Cornwall. It looked like the roads here made by the midgets... gave us exciting every time driving around the corner and met the oncoming traffic!!
There was coastal path leading you to the beautiful scenery along the sea to Cadgwith village nearby... on the way there were small herd of Shetland ponies grazing the field along the coastal path... very cute. The holiday park is not far from Kynance Cove and Lizard Point.... which I think it's the most stunning beach in Britain.
The Kennack Sands was not too far to walk, but no suitable for pushchairs or walking with young children as the road was very narrow.... however there was car park near the beach (£3) and there was shops and cafe where fresh baked Cornish Pasty, sandwiches, coffee, tea and ice cream were there. Lifeguards was on duty.. very safe for small children.

Room Tip: The best sea view of caravan honestly... from Kennack No. 36-43 and for Poldhu no. 44-52... the caravans located on the front row.

This was our second stay at the lovely Sea Acres. Even better than the first one as our caravan had lovely sea views this time. We went on a four day sun hols and extended it to 7 days. Our caravan was clean and had all the mod cons. The shower was immaculate with hot water on demand. The heating and fire worked really well and as we went in May and the weather was a little chilly, this came in handy to warm up the caravan at night. Our kids 2 and 3, loved the early evening entertainment and you had the choice to join in or not in the games and dancing. It enabled us to have a nice glass of wine in the bar while watching the kids burn off some energy before bedtime. The shop was well stocked with essentials and the staff throughout were helpful and really polite. The views are amazing and the local beach a 5 min walk or 2 min drive is lovely and is life guard assistedand has shops and food and icecream and coffee etc but still very quiet. The only thing was when driving the road down to the beach car park is a nightmare when there is something coming the other way but you do get used to the small lanes and it is cornwall after all. There is loads of gardens, coves, a theme park for kids called Flambards which is a whole day out (very expensive so use tesco vouchers!) and the Lizard is beautiful and a lovely place to visit for walks. I would recommend this site for anyone who wants a nice quiet holliday in a beautiful location. Enjoy...!

We stayed at this park for 2 weeks with our 2 children,3 and 10 months, and what a lovely little find it was, we had a fantastic caravan with fabulous sea views, caravan very clean and homely, staff very helpfull and friendly, we especially loved the entertainment girls Gemma and Zoe who were fabulous with our kids, our eldest is very shy and we took her to a lot of the kids clubs in the morning and the entertainment with Sid and Lizzie at night and the girls were just so good with her and she even ended up going on stage hula-hooping which i never thought i would see! If you have children under the age of 8 they will love these girls! The site is great for day trips as everything is not too far away by car, we travelled over 8 hours to get there and would definately go there again! The takeaway food wasn't that brilliant but met our needs! Thanks again for a fantastic holiday Gemma and Zoe, you have made some fantastic memories for my little girl!

Ok, so we have stayed at quite a few sites in the last two years & at last we have found the best one!

On arrival I do have to say we got confussed as there was no clear signs to tell us where to go for key collection. A fellow holiday maker told us where to go & that's where I met the fantastic park manager who gave me our welcome pack. We then went to find our caravan expecting something very basic as we had booked through 'The Sun Hols deal', yet we were given a 3 bedroomed one with double glazing & central heating. It was also very clean. We were amazed that nearly all vans have verandahs with picnic benches. Our van looked over the play area so we could watch our children (3 & 5) whilst we drank our coffee!

The site itself is clean & well looked after. The range of activities is great for families with smaller children. There's not much for older kids to do, but if you are at the beach or daytripping It'd be ok. The staff were fantastic & the girls who were on the entertainment team did a great job. On our first day, Gemma spent a while with us & chatted to our children. She had a real knack for remembering childrens names & making them feel special. In fact I chatted to every staff member I met. The views are fantastic & if you walk you are right next to the coastal path.

All the times we have stayed on caravan sites our children were too young for the entertainment. This time they got used to their surroundings quickly & we even stayed for bingo! The entertainment itself is pretty much the same every night & may get boring. Also the function room is a little on the small side, so get there early. We really enjoyed it though & it was perfect for our children.

We ate both in the restaurant & had takeaway. The restaurant was clean & quiet. Just a small point, you can only have roast off the menu on the sunday which wasn't all that clear. You also have to get your own drinks from the bar, so get them before you go in. You also can't eat outside even though there is a perfectly good outside area with tables. To do that you have to get takeaway. All the food we had was very good & freshly cooked, the prices were not all that bad & drinks were reasonable.

The shop on site was well stocked, but we stocked up at Helston on the way through. There are three large supermarkets there.

This is the best site for us. It's relaxed, friendly & quiet. If you have older children & want more to do, then the sister site at Mullion would be better. We stayed there last October & it was also good. We loved Sea Acres so much we have booked to return for a full week next year.
