We stayed in a private owner caravan in August 2012. The park itself is lovely. Situated in the grounds of a Manor House some caravans are in woodland. It's kept very clean on the park, the swimming pool and changing rooms were immaculate. The food in the restaurant was OK.

The entertaiment however was lacking and we have always enjoyed the entertaiment at Looe Bay but this was not a patch on it.

Don't be put off though the lady in the shop was fantastic and very helpful and friendly. and this is really a good base to visit great beaches and some of the best things that Cornwall has to offer.

Already booked to go back for longer next year

Just arrived back from St Minver with my husband and 6 month old baby. We stayed in a two bedroom (sleeps 4) lodge which was located on a peaceful site. The lodge was spacious with an open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen had a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, washing machine and lots more! The lodge was clean but the windows needed a clean and there was dust on the towel rail but all really little issues.

The site is set in a woodland with the restaurant and entertainment room a short walk up a little hill. The entertainment was great for children but didn't stay for the adult entertainment which started after bingo about 9ish. We used the restaurant a couple of time and it was fine.

We loved the location as it was in the middle of all tourist attractions although you need a car to go out as nowhere is in walking distance.

Would reccommend the site and definitely the lodges.

Good location, clean accommodation & value for money! The staff we met were friendly & helpful (apart from the reception staff who were abit miserable!) Would recommend it to anyone holidaying on a budget.

We booked a cherry chalet through HOESEASONS, should have smelt a rat when there was no picture of inside or out, It was really like a toilet block as written before. No coat hooks to hang wet cloths on, no shelf or hooks in bathroom ,1 small mirror just big enough to see your face in if there wasn't a big dark mark in the middle of it!.If you decided to sit and have a cup of coffee on the not so comfortable sofa there was no where to put your cup.No coffee table provided. One bedside lamp for 2 bedrooms,no shelves or mirrors in any bedroom, front door looked like it had not been painted since it was put up and fitted where it touched, meaning that when the wind blew it just as well not been there at all, Bedding was left in a plastic bag on the table for the guest to make their own bed! not a good start to your holiday when you have been travelling all day, So if you have or are thinking of booking a CHERRY CHALET at St Minver holiday park with Hoeseasons or Parkdean whos site it is,expect a damp 60s type prefab with no home comforts.

We booked a Polzeath 3 bed lodge (no 34) and the lodge lived up to nearly all our expectations.

The lodge was very spacious with 2 full bathrooms (showers only in the polzeaths), the twin bedrooms had full sized single beds and the master room was ideal in size. One of the downsides to the bedrooms is that the storage space for clothes is hanging space in wardrobes only. The one twin room has 4 drawers in but unless you take hangers be prepared to just have your clothes folded in the bottom of the wardrobes as we had 10 hangers provided.

The kitchen was well equipped but we had no baking trays provided - a pyrex dish was provided instead and isnt ideal for cooking pizza.

We used the swimming pool a few times and loved it. It was extremely clean and ideal for our children aged 7 and 2 1/2. The pool has seating along the one side should you not want to be in the pool. They do allow a maximum of 50 in the pool at any one time and this worked really well. We never had to queue to get in. The only downside to the pool is the opening hours. It shuts between 12 and 3pm.

We never used the entertainment as it didnt look all that appealing! We would definitely like to use the lodge again but wouldnt pay for the privilege of using the club house.

The park is very well spread out and even with it being fully booked the week we were there it was very quiet.

Room Tip: If you need a bath in your lodge book a Trehawk. Polzeaths only have showers.

Had a great time with the family, booked a lodge and was not disappointed, very spacious and in very good condition.Park was good too, but spent most of the time out and about checking out the local area. We would come back and stay in a lodge.

We stayed here at the end of August, in a Mulberry caravan, in Church View. It was our first caravanning experience and we loved it.
The site is secluded and set in woodland, but feels spacious. It was mainly young families and it was very quiet at night.
The Manor House has a decent bar which isn't extortionate and does takeaway pizza in the evening. The children's playground is very well equipped and there is a good sofy play room (upstairs in Manor House).
The swimming pool was warm and clean, you are only allowed one hour, it did get busy but we never had to queue. There is a well-stocked onsite shop.
Our caravan was only a basic one, but it was excellent, spotless, modern and spacious with good heating and lots of equipment inc flat screen tv. The beds weren't the comfiest but they did the job.
Staff were courteous and friendly and the site is ran well. It is in a good location for visiting Rock, Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay and Tintagel.

Just a tip - sat nav takes you to the back where there is no access. At the village centre (Fourways Inn ahead on right), it's right, right and right again. It's easy to miss, we did.
We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Mulberry caravans are clean and modern. Church View is near to entertainment so handy for families.
