There is no doubt the park is in a great spot and the staff are friendly but the accommodation was shocking we paid £260 for 1 week in a chalet which was dark smelt damp had old tooth paste in the sink and z beds to sleep on. To top it off the wall paper was pealing off the Walls. We left got our money back and found a very pleasant park to stay at for less money.

we've stayed at st.minver twice now - sept 10 and june 11 - and it's a lovely complex. the lodges are of excellent quality, well furnished and are quiet and secure. the 2-bed Trehawk lodges are particularly good with a small utility room/entrance hall off the main living area. unlimited hot water and central heating cant be dismissed with the british weather!!!

The park has a decent sized indoor swimming pool, with small sauna. There's a corner-shop store for essentials.

The main clubhouse complex has a decent bar, small restaurant area and an entertainment/cabaret lounge. Nightly entertainment is laid on for the kids, followed by cabaret and disco. It's good fun, although outside of peak season its not exactly capacity crowds...

you'll be out in the car to get to most places but in 35-45 mins you can be as far as st.austell or the eden project. Rock has nice beaches along the estuary, and Polzeath an excellent beach on the sea. You can drive onto the beach carpark which is handy. Padstow and Newquay well within reach too.

Service in the park is excellent and professional.

Well worth a visit.

we stayed at st minver back in september 2010 we stayed in a ceder lodge and i travelled with my brothers family and my mum and dad we had 3 different lodges , as we drove up the drive it felt like a country park it was surrounded my trees and i could see caravans and chalets to one side and a all the lodges were in there own part with a electronic coded barrier to get in and out we had a code for our part and it was gorgous all the lodges were set around a ornate pond with a pretty fountain there wasnt a view but each lodge had its own car parking space for at least 2 cars the lodge it self was well equipted and we had a issue with a toaster which they came and replaced with a brand new one they have separate utility rooms with washer dryers , and another seperate entrance leading into utility room incase of muddy boots!! they had nice furniture on the veranda ours was a older lodge than my families and was a little tired the bed wasnt very comfy and there was a funny smell in my en suite but the showers were amazing power showers !! i would defo book again the pub was quite a walk to get to up a steep hill so we drove up the little soft play room was lovely although small it was really clean and my 2 and a half year old had it to herself most days they have a huge outdoor wooden play area too and a pool a little tired but they enjoyed it although we found the water a little cold and the life guards were messing about and eating crisps !!! they did a kids play hour in the evening which was nice they got toys and colouring out while they had music and disco lights on my little one loved it the pub did lack atmosphere and the food was well overpriced!! as was the shop!! we went down the road to a 2 for £10 pub that was good and a had a kids play area too , overall it was a great holiday would go back !!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a Sun newspaper holiday deal in early September. We were allocated a 6 berth static caravan for 4 people.

The site is set in woodland and appeared well maintained. We were pleasantly impressed with the accommodation that was provided and expected a lower grade/older caravan given we were on a Sun deal. The caravan appeared new and very well equipped. There were 3 bedrooms - one double and two x2 singles (there was also a double in the seating area ). The single beds were ‘fishfinger’ beds and not really suitable for a larger adult who would struggle to sleep in them. The caravan was sited in an area where the other vans looked as if they were privately owned and well looked after.

As we visited during the school term the site appeared very quiet. We didn’t make full use of the site facilities, but there is an indoor pool and children’s entertainment area, as well as a woodland educational cabin. We did visit the bar and entertainment area one night and the drinks were reasonably priced.

The site is close to Rock and not too far from other tourist attractions, such as Padstow, Port Isaac and Tintagel. We Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

This was our 1st time in Cornwall, St Minver holiday park is great, our caravan was clean and big, no complaints at all and centrally heated for the colder nights. Set in a countryside setting in a lovely woodland which is lovely and very relaxing and peaceful. Swimming pool was good, and all the staff friendly and helpful. costcutter on site, which is well stocked but bit expensive if you did a food shop there, which is the same as all site shops.

The entertainment was good, but we didn't go every night because gets a bit repetitive. You will need a car to get about though, we went expoloring the area every day, about a mile to nearest good beaches. Polzeath, Daymar, Rock. Padstow, and Boscastle are great, and for younger kids with you, the Springfields pony sanctuary is worth a day out, lots to do there about a 40min drive. KIds love it.

Dont go expecting loads of shops and a big town, cus it's not. there is Wadebridge small market town nearby and a big Tesco there which is good. Swimming pool was good, and all the staff friendly and helpful. The entertainment was good, but we didn't go every night because gets a bit repetitive. Restaurant in the manor at the top of park aswell which is good.
