“Beautiful location, lovely friendly hosts.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I visited this gorgeous B&B with a group of divers over the recent Bank Holiday weekend. There were 14 of us in total and we were so well looked after. Chris and Sue are just lovely hosts, providing great accomodation, delicious breakfasts and are really knowledgable about the area. They happily provided us with very early breakfasts enabling the group to go off diving. A couple of our group stayed in the main house, with the rest of us in the converted barn rooms. They were clean, bright and well equipped. The views from Parc an Grouse are really spectacular and getting to enjoy them from the conservatory whilst eating our yummy breakfast was delightful. I cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay at all. We will definately endeavour to return again sometime. Thank you so much Chris and Sue.

Sue and Chris make this the most wonderful experience, from the first time we visited, we were made to feel so welcome, now each time we return, we feel as though we are part of an ever increasing 'family' of guests...Breakfast is always something special it's the greatest way to start the day, and have a chat about the local area. There is always a wonderful view from the Breakfast room, whatever the weather. Utah, Tom and Annie are always around for extra photo opportunities, the amazing and various Fish never fail to mesmerise us. We look forward to the next time we visit this 'home from home' Thank you Sue & Chris. From Jo and Gerry...Torquay XX

This good value bed and breakfast never fails to deliver friendly hospitality along with clean rooms where you can park right outside in a private courtyard. A "must stay" retreat in this part of Cornwall any time of the year.

Room Tip: The village square of St Keverne is a short stroll away where you will find two pubs. Both are very...

We have been spending a weeks holiday with Sue & Chris for the last 6 years. We were introduced to them through my parents, and were immediately pleased with the service they provide. The rooms are a great size, very comfy and just what you need after a day in the Cornwall sun! Every morning a great English breakfast is on offer... We can totally recommend the scrambled egg! Nothing beats eating your breakfast overlooking the sea. St Keverne has everything you need. Two pubs, a restaurant and Roskilly's all in walking distance. Sue and Chris are an extremely friendly couple, and we can wholeheartedly recommend a stay with them. We have already booked to go again!

We have been returning to Parc An Grouse for the past eleven years, excellent Bed & Breakfast and Self Catring accommodation, very affordable rates such good value. Sue and Chris make it home from home and Chris cooks a delicious English breakfast. I certainly recommend this 'Wonderful Holiday Accommodation'. In reach of beautiful walks and sea views. Parc An Grouse offers opportunities to holiday in a part of uncommercialised Cornawall. A Place to relax, unwind.

Room Tip: 'Converted Barns Rooms are spacious, quiet and sunny and natural'

We have been spending our summer holidays with Sue and Chrisfor the past nine years and have never felt it necessary to go elsewhere. We have stayed in both self-catering and bed and breakfast and can thoroughly recommend both. The self catering is excellent giving greater space and a patio with views across the fields to the sea. The B&B accomodation is very well proportioned , roomy , always exceptionally clean and with a excellent breakfast provided by Chris and Sue , who could ask for more. The rates for both the self catering and B&B are excellent value. Always assured of a special friendly welcome , this is the ideal place to stay a while and just let the world drift by.
There are various beaches near by , in walking distance if you wish to leave the car for a while.
The village of St Keverne has 2 pubs, a post office and a restaurant for those evenings out without worrying about taking the car.
Already booked again this year.

Room Tip: All rooms of of excellent value

We stayed for a week for the second year running in the 'self-catering' converted barn. Despite the 'self-catering' label, breakfast is available and excellent. We enjoy having the greater space available for relaxation, including a kitchen/sitting room and a patio looking down to the sea. Sue and Chris are always pleasant, relaxed and helpful, and we will have no hesitation in returning. The weekly rate for the barn is excellent value.
