The beach area at Carlyon Bay has been appalling - but this new pop-up style of beach cafe /restaurant /bar is a welcome addition. Expect a very informal style of dining on the sand with bean bags and rough exposed ironwork. But it's the same Sam's ambience to the other 3 outlets - but mostly take-away burgers.
Very much work in progress, but with a kid's play area. You have to park at the top and stumble down the steps to the beach proper - Sams is just below the Information Centre. You can't book as such- unlike Polkerris - but there's lots of room.
