Very enjoyable and interesting. Lots to see, but fine weather needed as much is outside. Take a guided tour - I believe one per day in morning - very informative with lots of nice anecdotes. Good cafe and shop with nice selection of relevant books.

I Love going here. First got dragged here on a school trip many years ago but loved it. Long walks if you want them, stuff for kids to do and educate them without them even noticing. Even the food was good. Dogs are allowed on leads.

We arrived on a soggy day (umbrellas are provided at no extra cost), and really enjoyed our visit. The volunteer guide who took us round was very well informed and gave us a really interesting view into the workings of the china clay industry. Excellent value.

The whole complex is set out well and made very interesting. We had a fine day when we were there and could have watched the work from the viewing platform for hours. Wish we had brought a picnic with us.

Interesting and informative. Indoor exhibitions and lots of examples of China Clay mining. Go on a dry day though as it is mostly outside. Views of a working Clay Pit. Woodland walks and childrens play areas. Nice cafe and great gift shop.Value for money.
