We have just got back from a fantastic Christmas holiday at Tregongeeves , what a lovely place to stay when we arrived at our cottage the tree was up and decorated I couldn't believe it !!
Even the lights were on.
What a lovely surprise and MInce pies were on the table waiting for us what a treat .
The cottage was cozy and warm as the heating was on for us how thoughtful.
The children loved the pool amazing facility as the weather was not good.
We enjoyed the lovely walk to the local pub in Polgooth they had the fire going and we enjoyed a glass of mulled wine .
Judith and John Clemo the owners are so friendly and helpful with a lovely friendly welcome , thank you both very much for making our Christmas this year a special time , we will certainly come back .

We made Tregongeeves our UK home for 7 weeks (Oct-mid Nov) with our two year old, staying in Lovedays and Hedgerows while my wife took a set of traditional upholstery classes in Grampound and I worked remotely. Judith, John and Alison were excellent and personable hosts, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay and the facilities were high standard and well kept. Our daughter loved the free-flow farm experience: esp. the four sheep, Splodge the pig and Alice the Shetland Pony.

The cottages are well situated to travel throughout Cornwall with easy access to beaches, Heligan, Eden and towns like Mevagisey, Fowey, Truro, etc. The Polgooth Inn (local pub - high quality and kid-friendly) is an easy drive or walk away and being near St. Austell made for easy supply gathering at Tesco/ASDA/Co-op. Our daughter attended the nearby Happy Days Nursery two mornings a week and had a terrific experience. Can't wait to make it back!

There is not a bad comment we can make! From the 1st minute we arrived, and was met by Judith, we can not find a single fault with the accommodation or location. We WILL return in the future, if we can get booked! As she is constantly full which can. Only show you how nice it is with all the returning guests.

Room Tip: Pick what you want, as you won't be disappointed with any.

This was our first visit and there was only 1 cottage left for the entire summer holidays! We stayed at Swallows cottage and it's very spacious for a 1bedroom cottage. Despite the poor weather (in August!) we had a fantastic stay. The indoor pool became very handy and nothing was too much trouble for Judith. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was modern and spacious. There was a toy box for our young girls and it was very much a home from home with added luxuries. There's so much to do in the area too with great nearby beaches, pubs and restaurants. Cardinham Woods was also a beautiful place to visit for cycling/walking. Thanks Judith, we'll definitely be returning.

Room Tip: The cottages are all slightly different in space and layout but the website is very detailed and use...

This is our fifth or sixth visit and the welcome is always warm. The cottages are gorgeous, warm comfatable and spotless. We normally stay in Quakers but this year stayed in Gallery which was very nice as well. The cottages are really well equipped and the welcome pack of breakfast essentials is great (the bacon made the best bacon sandwich Ive had in a long time) and we all look forward to the cream tea after our long journey. Our children love the games room and the swimming pool. Also the tennis court is a bonus. We have stayed at another cottage in St Austell one year but couldnt wait to get back to Tregongeeves the next time for its warmth and family feel. Judith and her team cant do enough for you, they have thought of everything from the map in your cottage to takeaway menus, books, games dvds and walk maps in the games room.

Room Tip: Quakers has the bedrooms downstairs and living area upstairs which is lovely and sunny

Tregongeeves was recommended by my brother and sister in law as having brilliant facilities and being child friendly. And it is. This is our second year here, first time our little boy was 18 months. Both times have been a pleasure, cottages are very well equipped - even with high chair, stair gates, toys for the little ones etc (no extra charge). Beds are comfy, it's quiet with no noise at night. We have stayed in both Lovedays and Donkey Mill.
The location means you can get to the beach (we love Caer Hayes), Heligan or even the supermarkets all very quickly. Judith is lovely and so helpful. She takes the little ones to feed the animals each morning (if you want). Even if it rains you have the indoor pool and games room and outside there's a play area, tennis court and a giant trampoline. Highly recommended.

We have just enjoyed a super holiday at Tregongeeves Farm Cottages and found our cottage (Gallery) very well appointed. It had all the things you need and more including a lovely welcome pack, plenty of towels, a well equipped kitchen and excellent leisure facilities. The children loved swimming in the indoor pool every day and we tried out the tennis court, trampoline and visiting the animals. The area has plenty of things to do and is very attractive with some beautiful seaisde towns and villages. The Eden Project is close by and well worth a visit.
Judith Clemo is a very welcoming host and always happy to answer questions.
We would definitley visit Tregongeeves again!
