If you are looking for 24hour entertainment with flashing lights, this is not the place for you.
What this is, is a magical place for children of all ages to return to just being children.
The accommodation is spotless, every item within each of the varied cottages is of the highest standard. There has been a lot of thought put into this. The focus is on a true family experience. The Bosinver Team cater for every need, with quality equipment. Even a cake in the fridge to welcome you after a long journey.
Every day was started by the simplicity of kids waiting to climb over a gate and wait for Marvin the Cockerel and Farmer Dave to share the experience of feeding the Chickens, Ducks, Sheep and Goats. Finished off with a cherished egg to carefully carry home.
Information guide, very comprehensive, Nanny Pat’s guides, priceless!!
A great base to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.
Will certainly be returning, as Grandparents we might just forget the kids and come on our own.

Hi Q6681EPpeterw Thank you for your delightful review. We are delighted that you found Bosinver a magical place to stay. As you say the Bosinver philosophy is to provide high quality family holidays, in luxury cottages, where all generations of the family can spend a relaxing time together, hopefully making memories that will last forever. I will pass your kind comments on to Farmer Dave and Marvin the cockerel, they are the stars of many a small child's morning routine whilst staying here with us on the farm. We are happy that you found Bosinver a convenient base to explore all that this lovely county has to offer. I hope we will be welcoming you back to Bosinver with (or without :-) ) the kids again very soon.

Fabulous setting and VERY helpful staff. Unfortunately we had messed up our booking (!) But these guys were fantastic, they pulled out all the stops and gave us the fantastic 3 nights we'd hoped for still in their beautiful surroundings. Facilities (Pool and games room) were clean and well thought out and accommodation (even though not the one we had hoped for, again our fault!) Was of a good standard, clean and lovely fresh feel to it, plenty of space inside and out. A huge thank you again for making our party of 8 ALL have the weekend of enjoyment we'd hoped for!! Would definitely return and undoubtedly reccomend :-)

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at Bosinver, the first thing that struck us was how friendly and welcoming all the team were- they really made it special. We had cream and jam scones on arrival, the cottage was spotless and had every appliance and home comfort you could ever need. The beds were comfy, we had Netflix and iPlayer etc in the lounge, there was a brilliant guide book with local family friendly activities in for us to read through.
The facilities were also spotless- they all felt brand new, the pool was heated to 32c so our little girl (3 years old) was in there an hour and didn’t get cold. The woodland walk was lovely with little animals to see and blackberries to pick all the way round. We loved the animal feeding each day and the play barn was great. There was so much to see in the local area - we couldn’t fit it all in in a week!
We will definitely go back!

Hi hampshire85 Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are delighted you had a lovely time during your recent stay with us here at Bosinver, and that our cottage folder proved to be very useful for finding your way around our beautiful county. Farmer Dave will be chuffed to know that his daily animal feeding was enjoyed so much by you and all the family, he and his sidekick Marvin the cockerel do work hard to give the children a really fun start to their day. Its great to hear you are planning a return visit , we will look forward to welcoming you back to find some more Bosinver 'Magic' very soon.

A very special place especially good for a holiday with small children.
A little community of beautiful houses set in a lovely location with lots for a family to do.
Tennis, a fishing lake and an impressive pool heated to 30 degrees entirely by solar power.
An Unforgettable few days. :-)

We’ve been visiting Bosinver every year since our daughter was two, and were back this year with a nearly nine year old. We thought this year might be our last visit as she is getting older, but Bosinver seems to have grown with us and - at her request - we’ve already booked to go back next year.

We took her (or more accurately she took us) body boarding at Pentewan (just down the road), Newquay and Perranporth. To give you an idea of the amount of equipment Bosinver provide - we borrowed wetsuits, body boards, sand castle making equipment, wind break and beach chairs from the huts at Bosinver!

A rainy afternoon was spent at the cinema on St Austell (which had excellent value snacks), and back in the pool at Bosinver. The pool is always a massive hit with us, it’s a great depth for kids and is always warm and clean.

On site the wellie boot hunt got us out and exploring the whole site, where we discovered the new surf swing and the “danger” trail! The zip wire and tree swing are firm favourites, and we managed a couple of table tennis and table football tournaments in the games room. Our daughter loved the animal feeding and egg collection every morning, and befriended “Charlie” - her favourite sheep. She also really enjoyed the pony ride, which happens one day after animal feeding every week.

Wild kids was a huge hit this year. In addition to the younger kids session, Tatum ran an older kids session where the children were asked to imagine they’d been shipwrecked and think about how they’d survive. They had to work together to find shelter, build a campfire for warmth, collect water, find food and make a signal for and passing planes. Our daughter had a fantastic time and Tatum made it great fun.

We stayed in Hydrangea, which was comfortable and plenty big enough for the three of us. All the cottages at Bosinver are furnished in a cosy, stylish way (I always find myself looking on the back of rugs or throws to see where they got them from and take some inspiration!). Everything is provided in the cottage, so aside from pool towels you really don’t need to bring anything else.

Bosinver is a great base for exploring Cornwall, but it also has so much to explore on site. Paul, Dave, Helen and the team are really friendly and have lots of helpful suggestions for days out or things to do.

We can’t wait to go back next year and see what Bosinver magic awaits!

Hi Kirst1980, Wow thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely and in depth review. we are delighted to hear that even after multiple stays here with us, you are still finding lots of new and exciting things to do here at Bosinver. Its good to hear that animal feeding still goes down a storm with your daughter, and that she particularly enjoyed the wild kids club for the over 8s. Tatum puts this extra session on during the peak holiday times when we have enough older children to make a session viable. I hope we can welcome you back to Bosinver again for yet another visit again very soon.
