I've been here three times now and the Beer served is of the highest quality. The staff are also very friendly and very knowledgeable on the beer that is served.
The food menu could be bigger but it is very nice and the pasties are absolutely superb, particularly with a pint of Tribute.
Finally the shop is well stocked and has an excellent selection of beers and wines at reasonable value.
A must see if in this part of Cornwall.

A very interesting tour of the brewery. A good talk from Pat - went into enough detail without being too detailed. We were in the actual working brewery so there were lots of steep steps and trip hazards to be aware of - but not a problem if you are able bodied. There was a good range of beers to taste followed by a couple of very pleasant pints in the bar afterwards. Only downside was that it is a little out of town so we had to drive! A well stocked shop to take some home.

A really friendly and well-run brewery with an excellent bar and restaurant.

The tour was hosted by the very knowledgeable Mike, who was both informative and infectiously enthusiastic.

After sampling some of the ales in the sample room, we retired to the bar to sample more with Mike.

I loved the way that this was done at a pace that suited the people on the tour.

We ate in the bar before the tour and the pasties were so good that we came back 3 days later on our way home to have another before leaving Cornwall.

It was served by the chef, who was also smiley and clearly enthusiatic about his job - so refreshing to be in an environment where the employees clearly liked being there too and cared about what they were doing.

The flavoured popcorn was really good too.

We'll definitely drop by again whenever we're in the area.

We went not really knowing what to expect. We had an hours wait for our tour which passed quickly as we checked out the shop and enjoyed a half upstairs in the bar. It turned out it was just the two of us on the tour which was brilliant!

A very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide made for a fabulous couple of hours. We learnt loads and genuinely loved every minute of our time. Afterwards in the bar we were encouraged to try every beer currently being produced - no arm twisting was required though.

We returned the following day with the car and stocked up on the incredible 1913 stout - supposed to last until Xmas - it wont!

If I could award six stars I would - anyone with a love for beer - this is a must!

I visited this brewery initially as a chauffeur for my husband but found myself extremely interested in what I was told. The brewery was well signposted and we arrived in the building via the shop. We were imediately greeted with a cheery hello and told where to go for the tours, museum, restaurant etc. We went into the museum where we caught the end of a tour which was facinating even to a non beer drinker, the gentleman who gave the talk was extremely knowledgeable and had a great rapor with his fellow workers and visitors. We decided to stop and have something to eat and even though the kitchen was about to close the (very cheerful) chef made us a plate of sandwiches and a delicious cream tea. Whilst waiting for our food the bar man asked if we wanted to sample some of the beers. We were told which ones to sample first so that our taste buds reacted the right way and given loads of information on each beer. The staff were extremely friendly and so helpful and we left with a real feel good feeling plus a crate of Tribute and Proper Job beer that we purchased at a very good price in the shop.
