My daughter held her wedding reception here on a Saturday evening, it was brilliant. Food plentiful, staff very helpful and the atmosphere idyllic

The brewery was okay, nothing special, I would not recommend or visit again. The beer is priced fine, considering it is sourced from there. The site is small and the signs need to be followed to find it.

The £8 admission includes tokens to get 2 'halfs' of beer- after having samples as well so good value for money. The driver can swap both tokens for one bottle of beer to take away as an alternative.
Interesting tour, entertaining and really explained the process.
Nice bar and eating area for lunch if desired.
We were spoilt as one of the staff members specialises in baking bread with the brewers yeast and we all got to sample a loaf with a whole camembert in it!! Delicious- he needs to sell this recipe to a chef!!! This just accentuated what a friendly atmosphere it was.
The tour takes one hour- due to brwery layout / equipment it has no wheelchair access except for the shop /bar/ museum / toilets which are all fully accesible.

An excellent tour around an excellent brewery. Unsurprisingly, St Austell Brewery rule the roost around the area, and its easy to see why.
The tour is the perfect balance of brewing science and historical interest, delivered in a slick and professional manner. There wasn't a question our young guide couldn't answer, and all the staff were incredibly friendly.
As part of the entrance fee, you get a voucher for two half pints. The bar within the brewery is light and comfortable and offers the full selection of beers as well as excellent food.
Add to this a brilliant brewery shop and you've got a great day out for anyone with even a partial taste for ale.

We chose to stay in St Austell so we could visit the Brewery! And we're glad we did as we had a great time on the tour. Our guide Mike was very friendly and certainly knew his stuff despite some difficult questions from someone else on the tour!

The tasters were plentiful and it was nice to be able to have 2 halves rather than 1 pint as it was hard to choose!

We called in on our way home to buy some beer and the staff were all very friendly. In fact I don't think I've ever been somewhere where all the staff seem so happy in their work - and no it's not just the beer!
