Stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a trip to Cornwall. We stayed in a room with a balcony, overlooking the grounds. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean, however as there are patio doors onto the balcony, and it was very sunny, the room heated up and was extremely hot. There was a fan in the room but it really needs air conditioning!
The view from the room was lovely, however the balcony was in need of a good pressure wash and the wood needed treating as it was quite green and the wood was splintering and looked dirty. My husband got a splinter in his foot from this.
The breakfast was lovely, and we had room service the first night which was very nice.
The staff were very polite and helpful. We used the pool and facilities which was nice, apart from the lockers which didn't work which was very annoying. Also the walk up to the spa area could do with some tidying up as it is quite rough.
The hotel is in a good position, on the road that goes to Mevigissey.
