T'Gallants B&B is one of the most outstanding facilities we ever stayed at. Jeff and his sister Sandra went out of their way to insure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their meals were great. The bedrooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable. I recommend room 5 which has an outstanding view of the bay.

Very central, charming B&B in the picturesque town of Charlestown. We were fortunate to stay in the four poster room on the top floor with lovely view of the tall ships.
Welcoming hosts, lovely decor, huge bed, very clean, and tasty breakfast.
My only "gripe" would be not only the noise from the pubs etc which of course is not the guesthouse fault, but thin walls in the property meant you heard everything. Once next door were awake in the morning.....so we're you! Being on the top floor meant we didn't get noise from up above but I would imagine any of the floors below would be disturbed by this. It's a shame cause all in all it's a lovely place.

We tried this guest house on recommendation from a friend as we wanted to stay nearby to Eden and The Gardens of Heligan without staying in St. Austell. The town of Charlestown was really picturesque and the rooms were spacious and clean. Our bed was enourmous and we woke up not wanting to leave.

Would definitely recommend this to travellers in the area who want to be close to the local attractions whilst staying somewhere with character.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at this beautiful guesthouse in the charming harbour of Charlestown.

Receiving a very warm welcome on arrival we were shown to our fabulous room with views over the harbour with its tall ships. The room was spotless and huge by guesthouse standards, the bed was absolutely enormous and sooo comfortable. Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels every day.

Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits supplied in the room and fabulous breakfasts too, really set you up for the day.

The guesthouse is really handily situated for exploring both the local area and further afield, the likes of the Eden project and Heligan are close by

All in all very highly recommeded, we had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back for another stay at T'Gallants as soon as we can :)

Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper as I sleep pretty soundly but we were unlucky enough to have the worlds loudest snorer above us which meant the thin Walls and ceilings reverberated most of the night followed by Mr Snorer's early rise during which he spent at least an hour stomping up and down around his room - what he was doing we will never know. If we were not fully awake by this stage then the aroma of breakfast got us up and wondering who the culprit was in the dining room. Two nights of this made our stay seem rather costly
On a more positive note it is clean and functional and perfectly nice if you want somewhere easy to stay in the beautiful and enchanted place that is Charlestown and some of the rooms have fantastic harbour views. You are well located for many of the local sites and activities
