“Friendly little pub”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

This was a lovely little pub with friendly staff. Lovely choice of beers too. The food smelt absolutely delicious, although we did not dine there.

Really good atmosphere on Saturday night. Had a meal at the sister place White Hart, and walked up to here. Good music.

“Friendliest landlady, ever!”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

Just came back from a fantastic trip to Cornwall with my boyfriend and The Hop & Vine was a highlight. We came on the first night for food and on our last night for a few pints. Unfortunately the lovely landlady from Thursday evening wasn't there last night. About the food, fairly tasty, massive portions, great value and proper home cooked. The service and atmosphere is amazing! Didn't catch the name of the lady who served us on Thursday (20/2) but she is probably one of the friendliest people i've ever come across anywhere. If you're in St. Austell, go to the Hop & Vine!
