I can heartily recommend a stay in Shane and Terry's very welcoming Guest House. It has all the qualities of a much cared for and efficiently run business. The rooms are immaculate; tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of little extras. You will be sure to feel at home with warm and carefully matched furnishings. The whole place is quiet, despite being so convenient to shops, trains and buses. The breakfast is the most wonderful choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and a full English, if that is to your taste. Look no further. You have found a place to return to time and again. You will not be disappointed!

We have stayed at the Beech Tree a number of times now. Shane and Terry are perfect hosts. The rooms are spotless, breakfasts are fantastic. The Beech Tree is well placed near to transport links to the eden project and other local attractions. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. We'll be back next year.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2013, very welcoming hosts and most helpful. Super breakast and very comforatble rooms. This is a hilly town so if you have trouble walking up and down hills, might not be the town for you.
Stayed here as a central place to travel to the Eden Project and the Lost gardens of Heligan, not alot to do in St Austelll itself.

Room Tip: Handy to train station.

We chose this B&B on the strength of its five-star reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. Ideal location for those without a car. Shane & Terry (and dogs) were the ideal hosts. A genuinely walm welcome from people who seem to enjoy their jobs - not always apparent in many a hotel I have stayed in. Probably the best breakfast I have had in a B&B to date, and I have stayed in quite a few.

Went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Shane's encyclopedic knowledge and patience with the bus routes was very welcome. And thank you for the birthday cake, with candles, and shiny banners - much appreciated!

Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Lost Gardens & the Eden Project.
